Why not v1 is shorted as we are finding Vx/I x

Why do v Short Circuit Drain and GAte to make diode connected load?Usually we will take output from drain but here y v take output from source?

+Praba Sri For diode connected transistor you have to connect the drain to the gate, this is beause a diode connected trransistor is always in saturation ( Current source ), the condition for saturation is Vds>= Vgs - Vth and if you connect the drain and the gate you can see in the equation that Vgs = Vds and Vds>= Vds - Vth whihc is true , bcause for example 5 >= 5 - 2 ! And the output is still taken from the drain of the mosfet ! The dioode connected mos is say M2 and the other mosfet belowis M1, the output is taken from the drain of M1.

the result of including body effect gives rise to a current source of magnitude Gmb * Vbs...... but how did Vbs become Vx here? Vx is only /w drain and source!

If your thinking about doing this full time I suggest you do some study on presentation and steps on how to present a tutorial. ie What are the objectives and outcomes.Who is the target group It will help with the flow and stop the ums and ares. You want to maintain interest. Check out the informative you tubes you like and make notes on why you fell it works.You want people to be interested come back and be involved. Well wisher ( 30 years experience in Adult Learning and Technical training.) Great content but make it practical Its easy to quote the maths but most need a practical outcome.Keep going .
