@@iseeyou5061 Expansion of borders not only changes who's ruling who but also the exchange of cultures, ideas and societal norms between the ruling people and the other cultures that are ruled. The only way Spartan rule through Greece would work is the acceptance of other cultures, which is a non-Spartan way. Assimilation is near to impossible, as Spartan culture and traditions are very brutal when compared to other Greek city states.

Love this mod, started as Carthage and did not even expand much for the first 150 years, just turning my city the most populous and fielding enough from that city alone to fight great powers at land and sea. Love the population mechanics.

Its a great mod, I remember playing as rome and carthage few years ago and i had a blast. I suggest one of those two for a first playtrough, theyre strong and get claims every where.

Later bookmarks in mod exists. I 'd say as developer, try Rome at 474 or 490, may not have events yet, but nice mission tree is there, and state of worlds great powers is pretty balanced, until player starts stacking modifiers :D

Love this mod, Sparta is a very strong military nation to play Btw try playing as Magadha from India, they have the best ideas for wide game of provinces and unite all of India since they almost conquered all India historically, both province warscore cost, admin efficiency, years of separatism, states governing cost, and end with promote culture cost

Is it me or is this mod super purely optimized. The lag is horrible and I have a good PC. Remember playing previous versions of the mode before even Imperator was released and it was fine. I heard they reworked the mode about 2 times and changed dev teams. Shame really seems like a fun mode.
