I have saved a tiny little bumble bee, and it was wonderful. Poor thing couldn't move, there was nothing left in the very small patch of flowers and it was out of energy. I came out with a 50/50 mix of sugar water (as recommended by bee charities) in a bottle lid, and fed it so it could fly to a better spot. It will make no difference at all to the world, but the world of difference to the bee, and to me my soul was nourished, and that is so valuable for the self.

I saved a kitten from the streets once. He was malnourished and infested with fleas, but I carried him in my sweater about a km home. Ended up being the best cat ever, funniest little guy ever, and really big and strong. We suspect he was a purebred Turkish Angora, but he got to over 20 lbs and was never fat (until his last year's, he grew a belly but it was also a side effect of the illness we didn't know he had). He could jump at least 6 feet high, and I taught him to defend himself by playing rough, but he always stopped when I gave a firm voice. Cut me open and bit through my skin several times as a kitten lol. I also saved a baby squirrel. I was walking home and it was just sitting in the middle of the sidewalk, and didn't run as I approached. I looked around and saw what was probably it's mother dead on the road, so I felt bad but had to just keep going. It's nature...but the baby started following me down the sidewalk, and it was like a cartoon. I would turn around to see if it was still following, and it would stop and watch me. Then I'd walk some more, turn around and he'd still be there, keeping about 5 ft away. When I crouched down and made some kissing noises, he came right up and sat on my shoe, looking up at me. At that point, he was coming with me. I was able to coax him into my hand, and carried him home. I cleaned him with a warm cloth, and gave him some water, but he wouldn't take milk, so we figured he was weaned already so fed him walnuts, and he went "nuts" for them. I kept him on my enclosed porch the first night, since I had two cats and a dog, but the next day I cleaned up a hollow in a cherry tree in our back yard. I filled it with some paper from our shredder, and he made his home there. I named him "Buddy" (like I named my cat Mr. Kitty, after Cartman's cat in South Park. I like simple names lol). I would go out every morning, while I let the dog out for a bit, and I would bang two walnuts together and call Buddy's name. He would come running, sometimes from his cubby hole, and would actually climb up my clothes and sit on my shoulder while I fed him breakfast. I amazed my friends with this, and I slowly stopped feeding him so much after he got bigger, forcing him to feed himself, so I wasn't ignorant of how he needed to stay wild enough to survive. Unfortunately, my old, idiot neighbor didn't know about him, and was confused when buddy went up to him without fear. For some unknown reason, he thought it was from the park across the semi major street I lived on, instead of the tons of squirrels right in all our backyards. So he took it over, and Buddy tried to make it home...unsuccessfully. I even saw him in the road. I found out what my neighbor did and I screamed at him for being so stupid, I was heartbroken. Both these animals I saved before I was even 18, and I even got another baby squirrel to let me hold it and sit it on my shoulder, although it wasn't an orphan, I just wanted to see if I could do it again. I guess I'm the squirrel "whisperer" lol.

Nice pick! Careful with these videos though, there have been plenty channels that have been banned for putting these poor creatures in miserable situations only to gain internet fame by "saving" them. 14:22 looks suspicious for that as well that's not a pit he fell into; looks like they excavated the side of that hill and then dumped dirt on the entrance. Also watch how rough they are with dragging him out, give a few pretend pets on the head but they also make sure to not let go of that poor pups' collar...

I don't care what number I am! This video made me cry. Raeen is right, people are always making trouble for animals. Also, that was a dolphin that man rescued, they're mammals like we are, not fish. It would be interesting to show the guys some videos of dolphins and whales giving birth in the ocean. They will be shocked to find out how much a blue whale weighs(on average 300,000lbs), and how big their new born calves are. Any video about unusual baby animals would be great to see too. This channel is one of my favourites, and this trio is my favourite as well!

Seventeen months my visiting son (who is grown and lives hundreds of miles away) and my wife found a one week old kitten abandoned in our driveway. Its eyes were not yet fully opened. We immediately drove to the super market and purchased kitten formula, and a heated pad for it sleep on. We also took it to the veterinarian to be wormed. It slept beside my bed, and each night I would awaken every two hours to feed it, and to assist it in having bowel movements (kittens cannot do this on their own until around four weeks). I now have a kitten that thinks he is human, and who is as loving as any child could be. He is my constant companion. It is I who gained the most, by far, from our adopting him.

I used to own many tarantulas. One of my biggest was a female Indian Ornamental (P.regalis). Tarantulas have to shed their skin to get bigger and during this time they are very vulnerable. As my spider was halfway through this process she fell out of the webbing she had made to protect her. She was badly hurt and half of the old skin was stuck to her and she couldn't walk properly. She was normally a very nervous spider who liked to hide but she came close to the opening of her enclosure and she stood perfectly still as I carefully moistened the old skin with warm water and cotton balls and then I carefully cut the old skin away from her legs and her abdomen. She sat still not moving for all of the time I was helping her. Once she thought I had done enough she shot off with great speed into her burrow. Now I'm not saying that a spider with a brain the size of a pinhead understood or asked for help. That would be silly. There's 100 explanations that make more sense. But I like to think she asked for my help. This was about 15 years ago. She is still alive today.

The “dangerous” thirsty animal is called a hedgehog (🦔) and is harmless and very cute! Native to Europe and Northern Africa, they are rodents like rats, and have sharp “quills” (needles) on their backs as a defense mechanism. The quills cannot be thrown like a porcupine’s can, and they are not venomous at all, but if a hedgehog is threatened by a predator, they will roll up in a ball to protect their soft bellies. They are insectivores, eating bugs and fruit/vegetables, and don’t have a strong enough jaw to cause much damage to humans. In rare cases they can break the skin with their teeth, but that is usually when they are protecting their children. They can have different personalities and are kept as exotic pets. I owned one in my life and I loved her dearly. Her name was Tallulah and she acted like a cat, wanting affection then immediately not wanting it anymore! Very cute. Also, the “big fish” that the man saved was a dolphin. It is actually a mammal like humans, and they are known to be one of the most intelligent creatures on the planet! It probably understood exactly what was happening, and knew that the man was helping which is why it didn’t try to fight him. Dolphins live in families called “pods”, and are known to “punch” sharks with their long snouts during fights. They are also smart enough to know how to use recreational drugs by ingesting pufferfish venom, which makes them high. They’re really cool animals! I’m also pretty sure that last animal was a coyote, similar to wild dogs. I hope this was informative!
@denisa_the_jedi
@denisa_the_jedi 2 жыл бұрын
The prickly animal is a hedgehog, we have a lot of them in Europe, and some of them are friendly towards humans. They eat mainly insects and earthworms and curl up in a ball when they feel threatened, so the predators won't dare attack them because of the spikes. They can also hiss if they feel threatened, and some of them who are not used to humans will bite if you pick them up.

When I see people not recognizing a Porcupine I kinda realize how big the world is, as that's an animal so normal around that we'd see them in our garden, and we'd sometimes pick one up and move it if it was curled up by a road and in danger, (as we'd often also find ones that had been run over unfortunately.) We'd probably react differently seeing a monkey as there are none in Norway, well, wild ones that is, as someone in a country where they roam wildly might chuckle to themselves, thinking the same as I did about Porupines. :P

I'm pretty sure there are hedgehogs in India(tho it is a big country). Interesting that they didn't know that well known animal.

Oh, the animal with the spines is a hedgehog ... only dangerous for insects, worms and snails ... otherwise totally cute, well maybe not exactly cuddly, they are a little peckish ... they have the spines to keep them going to protect other animals that want to eat them.

I'm curious whether when they said the man was rubbing the puppy's chest if they knew much about CPR. Might be a great video and lesson to teach them the basics if they don't already know it.

Animals do have intelligence! Dolphins are one of the smartest animals and things on earth. Elephants are smart but whomever said animals arent intelligent is wrong sorry . may God bless you guys and stay humble!

It would be good for them to understand that not all those animals are dangerous to people. Also that wakes and dolphins are not fish. They are mammals and give birth to live babies and nurse them. Also that animals are very intelligent. Koko the gorilla learned over 2000 words in sign language and over 1000 spoken words he understood

Has anyone ever explained to them the difference between a dolphin and a fish? They always call dolphins "fish". And can someone please tell them that owls don't "burst eyes"?? If you catch a wild one I'm sure they will harm you. But they don't attack people.
