You can see how Gopu gets moved by the emotion, and seems surprised by it and the love between animals and humans over and over. It seems that he hasn't spent a lot of positive time with animals, since the death of his parrot. He is very sweet and endearing, and you can see how he is trying to gain the respect of this colleagues, especially Babu. It seems like we're watching his world opening up in real time, and that is a wonderful thing. And yes, I'm not crazy about him beating cats, but if you were afraid of an animal, that could just easily get into your home... It's a complicated situation. Also, he's not wrong about the wild animals, and while the optimistic sweetness from Sarru and Babu is endearing, Gopu's truth is also funny and refreshing. Another great video.

He just needs a lecture on why beating animals is wrong, if he is Hindu, karma could catch up or he can be cursed by Lord Lakshmi who reincarnated as a cat, it's a sin to hurt or kill animals. Albeit, I think people are being too quickly judgemental without hearing his reason behind or if there is a genetical disruption in his brain, but I am sure that is not good enough for them. I want to hear his reasoning before I throw judgement.
@Katt-._.7.2 жыл бұрын

I completely agree, he might have phrased himself wrong, might be a birth defect, could be terrible parents teaching him the wrong and so on. Please show a video explaining about the powerful emotional lives that elephants live. The guys could learn about how elephants mourn their dead, how they communicate with deep rumblings that humans can't hear naturally, and other fascinating facts. Elephants are the biggest land animals, and one of its gentlest as well. Truly one of the most wonderful creatures on the planet!
@euodiaclitterhouse47262 жыл бұрын
I second this! And their self awareness (when looking in mirrors) too. The way they mourn makes them as conscious as humans, imo.
@louisejohnson60572 жыл бұрын
@@euodiaclitterhouse4726, my favourite experiment that they did with elephants, as well as chimpanzees, dolphins, and other animals, was the one where the people put safe "paint" on the elephant's forehead. Now other animals ignored the splotch on themselves in front of a mirror, but not elephants, or chimps, or dolphins. The elephants looked in the mirror, and with their trunk they reached up and touched the spot on their head, even though it was a mirror image, and therefore reversed. The chimps and dolphins did the same. This indicates that these animals have an awareness of "the Self", or personal identity, "I am me, you are you". Most other animals don't have this ability. I find this to be amazing!

She taught them her name, or a sound that was her name in "dolphin". As humans we sometimes let our arrogance get the best of us, and we assume that if something doesn't communicate the same way we do, that they're not very intelligent. Common Man Show is my favorite of all the "try" shows! I love Babu! He is so wise. They are all great, and I enjoy learning so much with them. I also love to learn new things. Just because someone doesn't know something, or isn't familiar with it doesn't make them "cavemen" or stupid. It just means they haven't learned it yet. Learn something new every day, and you still will miss out on so much that you won't have time for. Gapu needs to see and learn some of these things too. We don't know how difficult his life has been, the people he has been around. I think it is good for him, and it always cracks me up to see Babu cringe when Gapu curses. LOL Plus it must be very expensive sometimes to get all of the foods and such. Sharing videos is fun and more affordable. Also, you get to see real reactions, not people trying foods and pretending to like it. So many channels like that. I think you are doing a fantastic job, and I enjoy getting to know about the people and their lives as well. Thank you for all of your hard work in making all the videos! Love from Kansas, USA!

My dad cried for only the 3rd time in my life when he got home and our dog had been returned. That dog sleeps in the bed with him, he loves him so much. And that dog knows the sound of my father's truck when he gets home and gets all excited and runs to the door to wait. Our older cat does the same thing.
