I spent secondary school in the Peruvian Amazon. It is absolutely beautiful. Rainy season is from October to March or April, but we still got rain throughout the rest of the year. August was the driest month with no rain at all. The couch she was sitting on a couple times had designs from the Shipibo tribe on the cushions. Although a lot of people think of the big animals of the Amazon and the dangerous ones, it is not likely that they will be seen. You would have to spend a lot of time there to run across them. It is not as dangerous as people think or as movies make it seem.

Perhaps a good documentary from David Attenborough ... like birds of paradise, perhaps or there are many others that I am sure they would be absolutely fascinated with and learn a lot from.

I saw the video in which they react to our universe. I was delighted with their reaction. Amazing how they absorbed the information. you could show them otherwise. Just as the universe is infinite up/out, it is also infinite in/down. They will like to know how things are formed: cells, atoms. There are theories that our universe itself is an atom of something much larger. just as within each atom there is a universe as large and infinite as our own. hermetic law: "What is above is like what is below. What is below is like what is above."

This was a nice first impression of the Amazon rainforest, but a bit superficial. It gave a good look. though, into the scenery of the area and how it represents itself to the average human, and I would wish for a deeper look soon. Maybe a nice professional short documentary about the Amazon or an overview over the most important animals of the area, like jaguars, giant otters, macaws, sloths etc.
@miriamepage69917 ай бұрын
it was a very poor choice of video that shows practically nothing and all through the eyes of a tourists who knows nothing. The area is huge and the scenery varies greatly per region. There are multiple ecosystems with varied landscape, fauna and flora that vary depending on the geographical region.

It really is starting to bother me how he talks to Babu. Calling him negative and saying what he is saying is nonsense…? Where is your respect for your elders!? I’ve noticed this in several recent videos and it makes it hard for me to continue watching Because Babu is so wonderful, sweet and humble.. !!
@rebeccasunnybrook37097 ай бұрын
So all the times over the years Babu has been snarky to Raeen and the others is ok right? Being older is no excuse for why they should be talked to that way. Personally I get irritated at the fact that just because he's older he thinks it's ok to talk however he wants to the others. All Raeen did was point out that Babu was being ridiculous saying they couldn't be on that boat without having a clue that's a normal thing there. Is it ok that Babu snapped right back by making fun of Raeen's fear when he first rode on a bigger boat? Respect goes both ways.

Yours is a Western viewpoint.
@rebeccasunnybrook37097 ай бұрын
@@2l84t I'm not sure if your comment was meant for me? If it was I don't agree. Treating others with respect is not specific to only one region. I know respect for elders is ingrained in their culture and I agree with it but at the same time if anyone, elder or not, treats others badly it shouldn't be ignored. Babu has always said since the beginning of Common Man Show he loves learning and wants to learn. If every time he says something wrong and everyone is ignoring it just because he's 65 is it helping him learn? Even if he's only watching a movie should it be ignored when he insists he's right?
