you can tell Babu that the "rubber" items are made from Silicone which can withstand temperatures from -100f to +450f without being damaged
@lottatroublemaker61302 жыл бұрын
Exactly, it isn’t rubber, doesn’t dry out like rubber either. I have silicone spatulas that I got almost 20 years ago, still works as new! 🤗

Love the reactions, but I agree with the other comments- it would be nice to know if their questions were answered, even if it's sometime after the video. The silicone, or the artichoke... They are seeing new things, and having fun of course. But it should also be an opportunity to learn about those new things.

These are exactly the type of gadgets they need to see! Most don't have the electricity or space to store so many of the small appliances given to them. Not all of them are poor quality. I use some of them fairly often, and they are very useful and time saving, and best of all, no electricity needed! Makes it easy for kids to help as well! I wish I had enough money to send a big box for each family full of these things, but I am poor. :(

At this point you might as well show them a home shopping channel. But still, it was very entertaining and they obviously enjoyed themselves, which was nice to see. Would love to see them react to more ...fundamental things soon again, though, like, for example, how the tides come to pass, how the sun works (and maybe how polar lights form), or just something like why the sky is blue! But for something lighter I just recently saw a video of which I thought they might like that: It was from the channel CubeHub01 and was titled When Animals Are Freed For The First Time.

So funny how they react these budget plastic inventions like they are high technology. Its also sad that this cheap stuff is not easily and cheaply accessible to them as many are real timesavers in the kitchen and since they are hand powered and require no electricity they can work anywhere. Is there any way to ship to stuff to the channel? I'd love to each of the guys one of these items. Maybe the vegetable slicer as it seems like something that would get used a lot.

Please tell them that most of these gadgets are NOT available in our supermarkets - but can be ordered on-line. { Sometimes! } Also tell them that most of these things are often expensive & often end up cluttering up your kitchen cupboards, and are rarely used after the first flush of novelty excitement. The exceptions I would say are the Chopper { all veg or fruit dicer ] the juicer & the slicer. But the slide slicer - with adjustable blade is dangerous - when people don't use the hand guard and try to use up the last bit in the guard holder. { MANY People / & children going to hospital to have severed finger tips etc. stitched back on - if possible! I know. I have worked in Emergency Departments.) Have fun exploring - but be careful!

@magdalenabozyk1798 Жыл бұрын
It's not plastic/rubber. It's silicone - the same material nowadays used for baking. I'd use silicone over teflon any day. (not assuming that you use it, but it's surprisingly prevalent even decades after it's become obvious that the material is detrimental to health).
@monicapdx2 жыл бұрын
Yes, they're cheap stuff, and yes, a knife does most of the same things, but they still might like some of the convenience. Plus think of the hand and wrist strain relief the user might get. I have tendinitis from years of typing, and sure could appreciate some of these. Especially the ones that slice or chop. Not all are gadgets that just do one thing. You'd have to choose carefully, but some could be very useful for them. Even those rather silly fruit savers...well, you're not wasting plastic wrap. 😃 Not that they probably use plastic wrap.

I don't know if I'm going to sound ridiculous or not but yet he's stabbing the potato because if you stab me with a fork usually that's what you got to do stop with the fork or a knife perforated around the potato it cooks faster if you don't it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to cook a potato thoroughly this helps cooking speed and instead of being cooked over Kohl's they put it in the oven and called a baked potato so about 25 minutes 15:25 somewhere in there if you put in an oven or cook it at about 4:20 400 about 15-20 minutes should do crack that puppy open throw some butter in there throw a bunch of shredded cheese a little bit of bacon bits a little dollop of sour cream it's a meal in itself.
@monicapdx2 жыл бұрын
It also doesn't explode in the oven. 😄 Try baking a potato with no holes in it and be prepared to clean your oven. I don't know how useful this would be for them, though. I don't think any of them have ovens. Note they said boiled. And I've always just used a few pokes with a fork, doesn't need that many holes to do the job.

For boiling potatoes, I just divide them into halves or quarters if they are too big. They end up having cooking time for around 20 minutes. There's no real reason to keep them whole. If having whole, cooked potato is what is needed (some recipes ask for that), you can just buy small potatoes. Baked potatoes are another matter. But it also boggles my mind why they have to be big to begin with to be called "baked". We have roasted potatoes here, that are essentially the same thing as baked, but smaller. 🤷
