The one hint I would give you is that you should check vintage speakers to see if they need refoaming. It does cut down a little on the value if they need a refoam job, but refoaming kits are all over the internet and you can watch instructional videos on KZbin.

Back in the early days, I sold a set of Sansui speakers just like those, with the wood grills, and sent them overseas. The buyer paid more in shipping than he did for the speakers. I love speakers. But they are big and heavy.

That just brought back memories for me. I had all those Dawn Dolls growing up. I even had the beauty pageant that went along with it, I just looked it up on Ebay and sold comps are in the $150 range. I saw one that sold for over $300. I may still have it along with some of the dolls somewhere. If I find it, that's a lot of CHA-CHING!!!

Recently picked up a pair of Pioneer CS-88A speakers from goodwill for $20, and definitely would've paid up for them too - you can enjoy them for as long as you want and then flip for a good profit

I've had those speakers or similar. The trick is some of them started to have an actual pre amp in them in the rear and more than just a speaker wire screw. I think they were about $800. I think the name started with a G and they also make a gold speaker cloth instead of green.

I passed up on that same set of large Pioneer speakers in perfect condition about 15 yesrs ago...regretted after leaving, had bought sone other piece and thought since I had some good speakers wouldn't pick up even though I knew quality set. And only wanted $50 ....:-)

I played with all ths dolls in the 70s 🥰😍🥰 not creepy . They were the original small dolls for sure. I saw liddles kiddles in there right? And Dawn, I have some Dawn's floating around. We use them as what I called replacement grab bag barbies. They travel the world and take pictures at special places.

my brother recently passed away in Fla. My son and I had to take care of his things. I live in NY and the speakers couldn't be shipped back ....too big and heavy. We were only there for 6 days. My son listed them on the marketplace and they sold in 20 minutes. They were high end and about the same size as yours. This video is a reminder. It's just hard. There are just so many different scenarios that lead up to the "bargains" that we as resellers get. I didn't list anything on ebay for a couple of months as I had to throw out so much of my brothers belongings. I was throwing stuff out that I would have listed at home. Like my son said.....I was conflicted and rightfully so. But the bargain hunter is in me and always will be so I"m finally getting back into listing.

Watching this makes me really regret not getting some encyclopedia's this weekend. Set of 33 and they were really heavy. I got there late and he was going to give them to me. I just didn't want to deal with them. Probably would have been at least 3 large boxes to ship them. Is there a way to do multiple boxes on eBay shipping. Never really looked into that? But I looked them up when I got home and they were going for $200 to $300 plus shipping.

Like, I get newspapers and fliers and use that as packing material, and sometimes I wonder if a buyer thinks that's cheap, but I think it's one of the best materials for that. Another tip might be, beware of unpaid items, because when they are relisted, because the info for locating that item has now changed. At least for many items.
