WORDS have POWER. This episode will teach you how to HARNESS that power by becoming a master communicator.
Simply put, JOHN MAXWELL is one of the GREATEST COMMUNICATORS who has ever lived. He is a #1 New York Times bestselling author who has sold over 24 million books and trained more than 5 million leaders in 180 countries. He has trained High-Achieving Leaders across the globe and has dominated the business leadership industry. He has transformed individuals, communities, corporations, and countries all around the world and was named #1 leadership expert of all time by Inc. Magazine. It is my honor to welcome JOHN MAXWELL back on the show.
In this interview, you’ll get a sneak peek into his new book, 16 UNDENIABLE LAWS OF COMMUNICATION: APPLY THEM AND MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR MESSAGE. It's packed with valuable strategies that will up your leadership game by leaps and bounds, just like this interview.
We’re bringing you an hour of practical and actionable communication skills including insights on:
The 3 Stages of Communication
WINGING IT vs. WORKING AT IT
The LAW OF CONNECTING
The power of telling a GREAT STORY
How to Tell “ME” STORIES with a “YOU” MEANING
Key Lessons from 13,000 Speaking Engagements
The difference between talking about FAILURES vs. SUCCESSES
The power and anticipation of THE PAUSE
Hearing THE WHISPER of THE HIGHER VOICE
The 4 Fs of connecting with your audience
Here’s one of John’s best pieces of advice on communication:
Just like in football, GOOD coaches always have a plan. GREAT coaches make half-time adjustments.

I'm glad I was able to call my coach Yuval Eric Brokman since I was actively cashing out from my portfolio and finally made over 370k just in the first quarter while everyone else was crying about the downturn. early this year.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

Most people simply enter the foreign exchange market without comprehending matters like this. The first stage in building money is determining your goals and risk tolerance, which you may do on your own or with the assistance of a financial counselor who works with a verified Finance agency. And also you can learn the facts about saving and investing and create a clear plan, you should be able to acquire financial security over time and enjov the benefits of income management.

You are correct! Working with a financial advisor who has worked in a solid financial firm for a long time, such as John will actually set you up for success in life. I'm delighted I was able to reach out to "John Desmond Heppolette" earlier this year because while others were grumbling about the downturn in the markets due to the state of the economy, I was busy learning from him and eventually made over seven figures in the first quarter alone, which is why it's always good to join the correct community.

Because most people are dumb... dum people work for others, create the products the owners of the products sell back to the people. Compulsory education is a great thing, it creats a large group of dump people that can't think for themselves so some can take advantage of them and use them as basically human cattle that are dumb.

Jesus I still trust in you and will keep my faith even though it is so very difficult. I’m constantly faced with financial hardships and can barely support my children. I’m a single mom. With two children on the spectrum. I’m overwhelmed at times. My boys require a lot from me. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined because I suffer from heart disease. I had a massive heart attack a year and a half ago and I also have lupus. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself. I’m now waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making nearly enough. JESUS HELP me. I’m CRYING OUT TO YOU. I’m tired of struggling. Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. It hasn’t been easy. Why me Lord? I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. I know all things are possible through Jesus. I WILL KEEP FAITH. No matter how hard life gets.

As a Speaker (and a Storyteller), getting to be witness to these two MASTERS of the craft...is HUGE. Laughing because I was on a call with a client the other day, who wants to get on stages. I told him: "Learn how to pause, and do NOT be SCARED of silence." Back when I began, I was also a stand-up comedian. My very first comedy competition, a friend asked: "How did you do?" My response: "I got through 5 minutes of comedy in 3 and 1/2...because I didn't stop for any of that laughter and applause that usually get in the way!" So many EXCELLENT NUGGETS in this Conversation. Thank you gentlemen!

I have 3 hrs of information, but I am only given 2 hrs to lecture at the JC. I have an hour of info to present at the high schools, but I am given between 30-40 minutes to present it. Because I have too much info I alway feel that I have speak fast to get through as much info as possible and I rarely pause as much as I should be. I will definitely begin to pause more often and slow down as well. Thanks for these valuable tips. I love that you give credit for learning the pause to the pastor. Now, I will give credit to you when I share with others how I learn the pause.

This was so incredible! I will listen back a few times for sure! The part that spoke to me the most was the idea of having a talent and winging it and being in the top 20% - compared to working for it and being in the top 2%. I started working for it in this past year, I ready to move into the top 2%! I am grabbing the book today. Thank you both for working for it, you both are not just in the top 2%, you are at the top and still climbing! Booooom! 🙌💪🙏❤️

We had a driver training when I worked for the town and the instructor was over 30 mins late. She was fairly arrogant (partly I think b/c she knew we weren't happy about her being late) and she tried to command everyone to put their phones away or else we wouldnt be given the certificate of completion...even though most of us were upper management and directors of departments who had to answer our phones. As she conducted the class, every time there was an opportunity, she would tell us this elaborate, emotional, and annoyingly theatrical personal story. The reason it was an 8 hour class wasn't because there was 8 hours of material, but because she filled the time with all of her personal BS that just drove me and my department head absolutely insane. We had a crew working on a project and something happened, so we both had to split, and we couldn't have been happier to have a pain in the neck to go deal with, lol. We only took 3 of the 8 hour class and still got our certificates 😂 so there is a limit to how many personal stories you can tell and the way that you present it, matters.
