Was a lifelong Atheist, married to a lifelong Atheist, until last year when my husband and I were at a crossroads on a particular large issue. Unbeknownst to each other, we both began seeking Him through prayer around the same time. I brought up the conversation of seeking God and taking the family to church, prepared for it to be met with resistance. But hubby confessed he had been wanting to approach me about the same thing. The Holy Spirit was working in the background! Within days, our seemingly insurmountable problem resolved itself. We’ve been believers ever since and got baptized in God’s beautiful ocean last summer.

The 13:30 mark, Chandler says “I’m not numb anymore” here’s where the dead things come back to living, I feel my heart beating again. 5 yrs ago I experienced a heart attack and as they were taking me into the cath lab my whole body went numb, flatlined 3 times and they had to shock me 11 times. I listened to this song in my church, and I cried. I wanted to know where it came from and was led here. I cried even more. If you stop and listen to the lyrics, "You are closer.. closer than my skin," you really get to know how loving God is and how close He is to all of us; this song is just so beautiful. Someone in church picked this song and my leader wanted us all to separate and move and go around the room we could do whatever sit on the floor, sit in a chair, stand , or walk. This is what I’ve missed for years. So happy this group and others in our generation are here. We NEED this again. When I gave in to life Stephany’s music kept the voice of God in my head. Turned to away again and tried all kinds of things in recent years... starting my walk again this year was opened up by watching Chandler lead at All Nations. Worshipping God and music together are more powerful than any message I’ve ever heard. For us church kids that were born in it - we’ve heard all the coolest preachers and messages. Andrew Sidorchuk Hi Andrew. I hope you are having a great day so far. In this age of great deception, I’m very careful to test all spirits by the Spirit as the Word of God admonishes in 1 John 4:1. I’m not moved by music or the tempo of a song. I try to make it a habit to read & understand lyrics at the forefront as not to allow myself to become an emotionally driven listener. Regarding this song, my take away is that the Body of Christ is being encouraged to return to her first love, Jesus The Christ, the Groom who is indeed coming back for His Bride. (Revelation Chapters 2-3) Several scriptures came to mind as I listened to this beautiful song. They are as follows: *John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. *John 10:29-30 “My Father, who has given them to me,a is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” *Revelation 2:4-5 “But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first.” When the singer says, (take me back to the garden, lead me back to the moment I heard your voice). I cannot help but see a duality here: 1. Adam & Eve in Genesis and how close they were to God until temptation & sin, which led God to ask Adam, “where are you.” Genesis 3:9 Of course God knew where they were but ADAM was out of fellowship, they were both out of communion defined as “the sharing or exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, especially when the exchange is on a mental or spiritual level” 2. Us - The Body of Christ, again we are being gently encouraged to go back to where God wants us to be in Him & that is why I say the lyrics are anointed because they are pointing to JESUS The Christ, His Word & His ways.
