I've lived in Black Mountain my entire life, and due to the extreme tourism and rich people moving in cuz its "cheap" have cause the living expenses to skyrocket, to the point where the locals are becoming homeless

Check out Black Mountain iron works. They are on Padgettown rd. 20 yes there. They have a nice shop there too. Nice town. Come up 2 x a year

Not many locals - to many people moving in - It will not be small town for very long - will become very over priced and mountain culture will be lost

There's not much in the county as a whole, depending on your perspective. But it is a welcoming community

My boyfriendwants to move up to Black mountain but I am unsure about moving up there how good of the community is it up there and is it a good place to live in and is it easy to find jobs

My family used to live in Black Mountain and it was laid back enough that you’ll see people walking the roads because it’s so safe. We live about 25 minutes from there now. We plan trips to Black Mountain like vacation!!
