According to the 2019 Justice Gap Study, 85 percent of Californians’ legal needs went unmet. While legal aid providers continue to work tirelessly to meet Californians’ needs, demand continues to outpace service availability.
This event features a panel discussion about different Community Justice Worker models, including Alaska’s Community Justice Worker program.
Panelists include: Nikole Nelson, Founding CEO of Frontline Justice; Lucy Ricca, Executive Director of the Stanford Law School Deborah L. Rhode Center on the Legal Profession; Silvia Argueta, Executive Director of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles; and Sacha Steinberger, Founder and Co-Executive Director of Legal Link.
