Comoros fun fact: As you may have noticed, there is an unnamed island at the bottom right corner of the map, that’s Mayotte, a French territory that could have been part of Comoros, but during the independence referendum they voted against independence and stayed French, which may have turned out to be a good call, as during the short existence of Comoros there have been a massive number of coups, the 2 secondary islands even tried and failed to reunite with France.
