I have the Boss GX100. It's a great unit. But the reverb is lackluster. So I use an Eventide H90 for reverb. Your playing is spectacular.

That shimmer is definitely better than the RV6. The appregio style verb sounds a bit like the space echo which compensates for not including it. Overall, looks like my RV6 could be retired from my board

My dude, love this demo vid. Just got this pedal and have yet to try it out. My question if have for you is do you have any recommendations for learning the hybrid picking technique? I do it a little but not how smooth you do.

Sounds pretty good. Why does the delay have no tap tempo? There's a switch right there!

Obviously you can assign the switch for tap tempo, or use a seperate switch for it

Hello, I want to know if it's possible to use the hold function and then play on it by changing another preset without leaving the previous sound freezed at the same time...is it possible? Or the hold function follows the different presets/types of reverbs? Also I want to know if I can play a chord or note in 100% wet signal, then hold, and then play on it with a dry/wet signal (also with a different preset or type) Thank You

lost count of the Boss pedals I own lol. Love them. Actually, there is modulation and shimmer setting on the RV6 as well.

@11:14…it seems like I’m slightly in the minority here, but THAT is not a good reverb sound. That actually demonstrates exactly why I’m a bit disappointed by in this pedal. Most of the pedal has a this metallic buzzy sound to it. At @12:58, however, that’s a pretty good sound he dialed in.

Kinda got that one part wrong with Modulate being somethin new 😅 Modulate setting on Rv-5 (15 years old) is legendary.

The *effect* might not be new, but I assume the algorithm has been updated and modernised. I can't imagine they'd put a 15yr old algorithm in their brand new, flagship reverb pedal.

Not even Tom can make it sound good. I just don't buy it. The distorted sound was pretty bad. The shimmer is not really usable and the spring was most unrealistic. Hall was good. Not convincing...

I would like to find a few old vids you did called Developing your jazz chops, parts 1,2, and 3. But the link I had doesn't work anymore. Is it still possible to find those. They were very helpful, especially part 3.
