Thank you. I hope you had some memorable moments with your Christmas. Well… we’re heading into a New Year. Let’s hope it’s a good one for all.

That looks like the perfect chair for those places, you know the kind of view, the views of lakes, hills, or a river. My son and I take a trail that brings us to a fantastic view of the Mississippi. That chair would be great just to take in the moment!

Thank you for your comments. The chairs are not expensive and they are made well, very sturdy. I researched a number of chairs and this set had the best height 15” and best strong Oxford cloth, plus the cross section in the bottom is sturdy and avoids tipping. We were both impressed on how comfortable they are.

After seeing your chair review I ordered my husband and I each one. He is 81 and I am 79. We live in Montana. I thought they would be great for our walks.

I’m sure you will like the chairs. I can’t wait to use ours. They are very comfortable, much to my surprise. Cheers and Happy New Year. Wishing you all the best.

Hmm. I was also hoping to watch as he got back out of the chair. That’s my worry for me. I think my walking stick could be my assistance, though.

@@tlsnana9539 When I first ordered these chairs for both of us, I was concerned for Stanley and myself, would we be able to get up out of the chair easy enough. For that reason, for my concerns, I made sure to order ones that had a 15” height. I knew they couldn’t be too close to the ground or that would be an issue. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out and was able to get up with ease. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, diagnosed when I was 21. The chairs would be a loss for me (or returned) if I couldn’t manage getting in and out. But as mentioned, I was pleasantly surprised. We both are able to manage them with great ease. I have another earlier video where I show the chair, me sitting in and getting out of the chair. The video was published Dec 6, “Perfect Camp Chair: Great for backpacking” I’d place a link but I don’t know how to do that yet… lol… Me at 70 learning new things. Cheers!

@ wonderful!! I just ordered it. Thank you so much. We’re going to walk as soon as I heal and this will go with us.

@@tlsnana9539 I’m so happy that you ordered. Of course, I don’t get anything from the order, but that’s not the point. I’m happy that you have something that will be useful when taking your walks. I can’t wait for the weather to improve so we can take our chairs along and enjoy a sweet spot, a lovely view. When you take your first walk, if you remember, drop me a line. I’d love to hear how it went for you. Cheers!

@@TwoSeniors I will. I get spring fever as the days get longer again. I’d love to go to Ricketts Glen with my son and our dog, but that won’t be safe until late May. It’s too icy along the falls .

@ I looked up Ricketts Glen once. It looks like a beautiful place. I’d love to go, but it’s roughly about a days journey for me. Who knows maybe one day I can do a road trip there.

Love the chairs! So handy and lightweight. Stan liked his chair and looked comfortable in it. I got myself a new stove and fridge for Christmas. My old ones were 40 years old! I see on the news that Ontario's Premier Doug Ford says Canada will shut off electricity to northern US states (including Wisconsin) if Trump goes thru with the 25% tariff. He said Canada will not be slapped around. Good for him! Trump needs to see that countries will not stand for his foolishness. He mentioned Trump's ridiculous statement about Canada becoming the 51st state and called it an insult. I agree. I'll just camp out in my living room if the power goes out.

Laughing out loud, camping in your living room if power goes out. We have heard about the talks and I suspect we have more information on this side of the border, but Ford is a great Premier and he’s not a … how do you say… it’s no bluff. Not all the other Premiers of other provinces agree with Ford but I do believe most people are with him. I suspect that neither of the threats will occur. Yup, Trump needs to know that us Canadians are strong people, not whimps about to fall prey to his orders. As I said, Ford is not bluffing but I doubt the power will be turned off. Someone needs to stand up to Trump. I also suspect that many of the things Trump says about tariffs, border and so on, will not come to fruition. We will see.

@@TwoSeniors - Here here! Glad you got a chuckle out of the living room camping, but hey, I'm not kidding. I have a small one-person tent and a minus 20 degree F sleeping bag that weighs 17 pounds which I got a couple years ago after reading up on how to keep warm if the power goes out in winter. Your body heat helps keep you warm inside the small tent and well, the sleeping bag speaks for itself. I also have a Buddy Heater which runs on propane and is safe for indoor use, altho I'd crack the door open a little for ventilation. My windows are sealed to keep cold air out, so I don't open them. But yes, Go Canada! You can help us keep Trump in his place.

I have been toying with the idea of seeing if my beach tent will fit in the Honda. I’d use my sub zero sleeping bag and a few other comforts and spend the night there, just to try it. I’m waiting for the right night. I haven’t told Stan about the idea yet but I’m sure he’d say,, “You’re kidding right” and then he’d say something affirming the idea, and of course he wouldn’t join me. He knows I’m a bit crazy. Anyway, the idea of the beach tent in the Honda is so that I can help retain body heat. I have a few ideas for trying out in the Honda. Anyway, I’ve been busy these days, as most are over the holidays.

@@TwoSeniors - A beach tent in the car! I love the idea. I'd be interested in how it works when you get the chance to try it out.
