Great tip. I have forks on my subcompact but not on the compact and that's gonna soon change so this tip will come in handy. Thanks and enjoyed a full-watch. Have a fine Friday afternoon and upcoming weekend. 👍🏽

I wish I had been smart enough when I was young to buy forks for my tractor. So much effort saved!

Thanks for the tip . I've driven forklift tractors all my life . Love it . I've seen guys smash into pallets many times yet it's easy to see the forks . Then you have the guys driving in too far and hitting the wall behind a skid because they had very long forks and didn't adjust for fork length . LOL . One thing I've learned it's a lot harder to drive a tractor with forks than a fork lift . You just gotta take it slow .

Yeah I'm definetly no expert with the forks and boy oh boy do I hate the feeling of smashing pallets and whatevers on it. Darn Tractor isn't too forgiving haha.

Good tip, I do the same on my skidsteer, only it has a self leveling mode, and it’s sure handy when moving stuff on pallets, especially when raising the load it’s always level.

Self-levelling sure wold be a nice feature. I've not used that before on any equipment but I"m sure I'd want it on my tractor after trying it.

When I first bought my woodlot years ago I wanted to clean up some areas so friends and family could come out camping. I strapped an ibc tote to the forks on the front of my tractor and used it as a safety cage, with my Dad behind the wheel and me in the cage with good loppers we limbed up a few hundred trees in a solid two days of work. Fiskars power gear loppers were the ticket for this job, but I had seriously sore arms after that one.

This idea is definetly one you'll hear me using in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Nice, I'm thinking of getting a compact tractor next year as I send and receive quite a few things on pallets and have rough ground so I don't have a good way of moving them around at the moment.

Hi Bob here,also from ON, thanks for fork tips. I’m sourcing out a set of forks for my 3540 cab model, wondering the length of your forks?
@sawingwithsandy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Bob. I’ve got 42” forks and have found them to be the perfect length.
