Wow, so you don’t have to use control flash any more. Awesome.👍👍. Also I totally agree with you, flashing a controller need to be done on it own and I usually have a UPS powering my laptop and controller when I’m flashing.

@@TimWilborne Tim, you should check out the headless HMI that automation direct sells. Not sure if you’ve ever used them but they are super easy to work with and they contain the firmware, HMI, etc. on a din rail device. They’ve been a life saver for me.

Hi Robert, thank you for your order! Cascading loops is something that has be on and off the list for years. I've never come up with a setup that everyone can follow in a video. Let me revisit it.

I just discovered your channel searching for a video on using a CompactLogix PLC to control a stepper motor. I’m sure this is possible but I don’t know what module I would need or what instructions to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Awesome channel!

It isn't possible natively with the Controllogix, you would need a 3rd party devices such as an AMCI. It is possible with the Micro850, here is a video I did on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH65eqiPndulb8k

I created an AOI. to control applied motion servo controller. It has both fwd and reverse direction and a pulsed output

I just reread your reply and realized you said you created one. What hardware did you use for your outputs?

I just used the regular digital outputs and wired them to an applied motion servo controller
