That's why I love Rory as a character. You can tell that he was meant to be different from Mickey Smith. Instead of starting as a constantly scared boyfriend who's a bit out of his depth, Rory is introduced as someone who is already somewhat capable of holding his own when traveling with the Doctor. This scene shows that when introduced to the fact that aliens exist, he did research so he would be better prepared when given the opportunity to deal with them again.

From what I have seen in different reactions, people who don't like Clara, feel like, she has better "treatment", than their favorite companion(s). What I believe people don't understand, is that she was written this way, and it was necessary for Peter Capaldi's (which often the same people adore) story works. e.g. The episode "Heaven Sent" (which is one of the best-rated episodes in the whole series) needs the Doctor to be essentially "obsessed" with Clara.

Saying that the Doctor isn't Gallifreyan is rather inaccurate since biologically they have Gallifreyan (specifically Time Lord) DNA and they were raised on Gallifrey within its culture, education, and technology. A rare inclusion of Modern day Clara in a compilation video like this, and I’m glad that she was featured because her introduction to the Tardis is completely different to everyone else’s. Instead of a “big reveal” she got a character focused scene with her talking about her reasons to travel. We obviously got the big reveal in the previous episode when Victorian Clara saw the new Tardis: so we don’t loose anything by changing the formula, and in fact it kinda justifies modern day Clara more (at least in my eyes) because she gets to stand apart from her predecessor as a more controlled and mature character who is Able to take the Time Machine in her stride.

The Whittaker era had the Master kill all of the Time Lords when he discovered they'd experimented on the Doctor to gain the secret of regeneration before covering it up and wiping the Doctor's memory. In other words, the Master somehow single-handedly murdered the entirety of Gallifrey because he learned the Doctor was a secret mystical chosen one from another universe and is the reason he can regenerate. Keep in mind that this (for whatever reason) was stated to have happened _after_ Missy's redemption arc, and you'll realise that not only is this fit of rage completely out of character for the Master as a whole (even when he found out the High Council was responsible for his madness, he only took his revenge out on the man who _ordered_ it to happen: Rassilon), but doesn't fit with the character growth Missy went through and the care she showed for the Doctor both before _and_ after her redemption arc.

Did they ever have a scientist or nerdier companion who was pretty nonplussed about it and was all, "aah, must be a tesseract. Or some sort of controlled pocket dimension? Is the exterior some sort of obvious camouflage and if so why is it stuck in the 1960s? Does you still use fossil fuels or have you discovered crystallic fusion?"

It's like, on a scale from Rory Williams to The Doctor, how chill were you the "first" time you saw the inside of the TARDIS?

There must be a mistake here. You've somehow managed to not include a single clip from the first 26 Seasons of the show.

Yes, clearly, someone must have forgotten to add those clips they'll correct it soon, I'm sure.

Ruby Sunday's TARDIS reaction in the Church on Ruby Road is probably the best reaction since Bill Potts TARDIS reaction in The Pilot
