Gale's is my favorite one by far. His little "ritual" for bringing him back isn't just a gag, it's legit and you can actually follow the steps he describes to get that Scroll of True Resurrection and revive him with it. The little mephit he says would appear does so and everything. The fact that they actually added all that in is what separates this game from others and truly elevates it to masterpiece status. The attention to detail is insane :)

@@liviubostan7229 I know that's there's at least three. >If you revive her while she still has the artifact, she is neutral and can be recruited. >If you have the artifact, she'll be angry and demand you give it back, in which you can refuse and she'll attack, or can give it back and she'll become neutral and recruitable again. >If you discard the artifact or send it back to camp, she'll demand to know where it is and (if I remember correctly), becomes hostile. Also if you revive her and she attacks you, you can knock her out or kill her, take her body back to camp, and revive her there, and she'll become neutral again. Though I don't know if this applies to any other companions as well.

Lae'zel has a different variant than that one. THe one you got after killing her while she was caged is the default one for when you dmg her when trying to get her out of the cage. if she dies on the nautiloid she will have different dialogue when you res her on the beach. and you can even bow to her!

Plot hole is that the tadpoles escape the body when a host dies, and resurrection is cannon and characters are aware they died , why not just kill everyone and then once thebtadpole escapes you just revive every party member ?

Just separate the engine from her dead body before you cast it and she should be perfectly healthy afterwards. Then dump the engine in a deep cave or something. Or send it back to Zariel.

You know now I'm wondering what happens if you kill Karlaach, get the reward from the "Paladins of Tyr", get Mizora to let Wyll out of his contract (at least I think that was the deal?), and then revive Karlaach? Loophole? 😂Also that's really interesting that there's a unique reaction if you kill Shadowheart, take her artifact, then lose it because Laezel has it and at that point you're separated from her. The fact that they thought of that possibility at all and included unique dialogue for it is amazing and what I love about this game. Side note: I was so confused when I was wandering around in Act 1 and then checked my inventory to see I suddenly had the artifact! When I tried to get rid of it before it went right back to Shadowheart but then suddenly it was in my inventory? I thought it a glitch maybe but nah it's supposed to happen lol.

Unfortunately no. It revives him as a vampire. I think the only spells that can cure vampirism are True Resurrection (and I think they can't be dead long) and sadly the spell doesn't work like that in-game. The other is Wish. (I swear some other ones should be able to as well, like Divine Intervention feels like a perfect Spell to cure vampirism!) But they need Astarion a vampire for plot reasons lol
