The general idea (in all matches) is that you want to build a minimum of 1 anti armor unit/ability by the 3 minutte mark, as this is generaly the time it takes for a team to produce there 1st light armor unit, so if you look at your units at the 3 min mark, you have no anti armor, if the enemy would come with just 1 light armor now he would single handedly hold your entire team hostage with just 1 unit

@@Achilles-Gaming do 4 infantry then 1 anti armor upgrade/unit, so eather a rocket launcher upgrade for the basic soldier or a light tank from the new building or a anti-armor gun from the 2nd new building, it kinda depends on how much fuel you want to save and/or if you want to play a defensive(anti armor gun) or aggressive (light tank) mid-game

I work as a video game coach (not for this game) and with that experience i know that if you want to practice, you NEED to go into matchs with like, 1-2 practice focuses at MAX. Dont try to multi-task 10 diffrent ideas in a match, go into the match with the idea of: "in this match, i will not float manpower" or "in this match, i will remember to build a forwards medic post" or "in this match, i will remember green cover" then keep that focus until you do it without having to think much about it, then you move on to next practice focus In this game id say the basics are: 1: Dont float ressourses 2: Use cover/buildings 3: Remember to tech up at a steady pace (new buildings) 4: Have a build order Its important to learn the BIG EASY BASICS 1st so you get a solid foundation to build your skills out from, cuz without it, you have nothing to stand on the moment you are pushed

Oh and also if you plan on not utilizing infantry (you appearantly use it as the core)you might wanna give them some automatics.i mean i think they should be armed as soon as you get the munitions unless you wanna spend it on some early armor maybe mount an m43?but anyway,thanks for the upload

You need to utilize cover. At 9:30 mark your grenadier squad can have green cover while enemy have to fight you under mortar or AA. If you use cover and fight that point would not lost. Axis infantry are generally stronger than allied.

@@Achilles-Gaming speaking of a long to do list, then it might be time to go over that list and orgenzie it from basic to advanced consepts, cuz im seeing ingame that you have a few intermediate tech skills your doing, but its clear to me your missing alot of the basic stuff, "learn how to walk before you try to run" id say, the intermediate stuff is flashy but with "no" basics you have nothing to fall back on once you get pushed

I don't mean to armchair QB this epic game but there were a lot of weird decisions made at different parts. One thing I noticed was floating over 300 munitions consistently towards the end but there was never an MG upgrade done for any of the tanks even when they were hitting infantry much more often than other tanks. There was the decision to retreat a 5-man sqaud that took a mortar hit but didn't actually lose any models. There was kind of a lack of unit preservation later on, like when it came to the vetted 2-man AT gun that was moved up with no infantry support facing the Paras and no opposing armor. But OP did a good job saving the medical halftrack. Was kind of weird to see repairs being done while taking artillery fire. When that happends my first instinct is to fallback asap. I not saying I would have played it any better but it was definitely interesting to watch.

Nice and well balanced match. You really never used the blitzkrieg ability though which if you’d used it with a tiger/pz4 push the match would’ve been over much earlier, and you also had smoke plane which would’ve made his Matildas get closer or reposition. That being said though, I’ve had matches like this and it gets progressively difficult to multitask and the more action the more tunnel vision you get, you have a pretty decent opponent too very clever use of his commandos.

@@Achilles-Gaming you really should play as benevolent as possible to your teammate and always looking for a poking flank to make them go "YEOUCH" and turn towards you even for a second. i know its hard when holding mid tho, but yeah there were times with blitzkrieg where it would have double your damage output from mobility into the windows of attack and saved your tiger from the planes.

Stop mindlessly rushing with infantries :3 . You need long range and cover for grenadiers to fully effecient. Stop and shooting increase accuracy while running reduce it. Rifle are to use stop and fire. SMG units are to make as close as enemies to make thier damage effecient. At 17:00 your 3 grenadier units should stop from cover and fight the commandos (I think). Commandos strength lies in close range. If there has two commandos your grenadiers will melt. Always advance with support from AT guns or tanks.

Day #3 of reminding you to build a forwards post for healing/re-supplying squards in the field, you have 2 options, you can build a early bunker with engineer and convert it in to a medical bunker, or build a medical half-track but this unit requires micro AND it cant be buildt as early as the bunker

Gold gameplay! I think you rush too much the granadiers, use more green protections, for example you can rush in front of the enemy with the panzer-grandiers and in the maintime flank and support with standard grandiers. In 18:55 you could have used better the flak, the stun ability "Y" gave you time in which the grenadiers and the pak could destroy the matilda. In my opinion you use well the fuel and the munitions, you (like everyone) could do this better, but you are not bad. Sad for the Tiger, "the circle" works like this: every time a plane passes, after a few seconds that the attack ends, it fixes another target. So even if the Tiger had gone out, at the moment of choosing the target it was inside. The fact is that he could also choose the panzer 4 at that point. Sad :3 Good job in the end.

This game would have been more fun if there's a free for all option instead of a 2v2.. a free for all option would have allowed players to fight against a faction of the same type ie play as USA, UK and USSR and fight against the same ai controlled Factions, or perhaps the ability to capture opposing technologies and be able to control all allied and axis(German) factions

So this is supposed to be considered a constructive critisism but i do believe you rely so much on infantry that it is safe to say a lot of resources and also time was wasted on building a formidable combination of squads to conquer just two (i guess?)strategic points.which never happened.i mean the points were captured but it was leanred the hard way that infantry can rarely win you the match on its own.esp in cases like this one in which you encounter heavy resistance.there was a considerable amount of resources spent for artillery on the side.then again,had you not spent that extra fuel on the second truck,you would be closer to the first panzer which btw came in really late.

@@Achilles-Gaming as a game dev i think this pathfinding will never get fixed. having a solid pathfinding for vehicles is insane to code, and when i say insane i actually mean it. :) the is why most RTS titles generally orient the vehicles before starting to move them. it looks horrible i know, but it gives you a much more solid gameplay.
