@rabadooda this doesn't always work. 1) one recon section can be easily drawn out from the +10/16 territory and you'll have nothing else because your HQ is moving;2) lieutenant can be easily killed even by pioneers;3) see 1);4) StuH42 kills the PIAT squad in 2-3 shots. Also no decent player will let u build Bofors without pressure;5) if enemy keeps pressuring your base, you proly won't have res to buy cromwells/commandos;6) when your base finally succumbs, you won't have anything to hold VPs.

Since the captain is pretty close to the battlefield why don't you make the squads at the base retreat to Cpt so they can get to the front faster than just walking there.

I think you're strategy is very good against a rush with light vehicules like puma or halftrack because brens rifles deals good damage against light armor and if you have time you can upgrade sappers with PIAT for incredible damage against light vehicules . I play the Brits with you're strategy and I win all time . Thank you a lot for this video.

HELPFUL REPLY... I can answer 2 and 3 2) a control group is when you draw a box over units then press CTRL 1 to assign them to group 1. Then when you press 1 it will auto select that group. I suspect this is how question one was accomplished. 3) when moving a tank for example if you hold right click you can choose which direction the tank will face as denoted by the arrow.

Hi cmasupra, Thanks for the tip. I enjoy playing the Brits and I'm learning new things all the time. Wouldn't you agree though that this strategy of yours will require an extraordinary amount of micro-management of your infantries and near-masterful use of your PIATs? Wouldn't you agree as well that even if you don't need all those fuel points, you should take them anyway, just to prevent your opponent from taking them?

lol if he used only one mortar team you would have been doomed... but what really surprised me the most was that you only built 1 deference building and 2 trenches... which opposes the brits' strategy of -rush -fortify -regroup -attack... due to the lack of unit specialty...

Thanks so much for sharing your strategy. My question is why bunker mortars are not so good I feal they can be good in beginning of the game, or for example in your game you could build one in middle since you capture and secure it well? What you think is it good or not, because Wermacht has good tactics against it fire, etc...

I tried clicking on "Continue" when the match was over. Strategy works well btw, but i usually build 2 recon squads max, and upgrade secure recoursing which helps alot for the "button" and sniper abilities.

very nice video mate, I was wondering if you could answered some questions I have. I use a similar tactic to this but i have problems with it. 1) Snipers, what would you say is best to deal with them? 2) Being rushed early in the game which I could not stop because he had two mg42's one covering my base and the other covering the first, how would you stop this? 3) when is it right to use emplacements as brits, which emplacements and in which situations? If any one has ideas pls just say :)

I guess if you find a way to flank the AT guns then you could use the Stuart's shotgun something. The Firefly actually is great. Unfortunately, it's armor is too thin so you could partner it with a Churchill since those have good armor. You could use the Churchill as the main attack then the Firefly could attack from behind. And by the way, how do you get a Cromwell tank?

Hey dude, I know I'm kinda late with my comment but nice game, very well outplayed and executed, congrats. What I would of done different is probably just setup a few of those heal and medic center things around so I can convert casualties to more squads instead of investing 450 into each and every one, plus with the reinforce rates and all that... just reinforcing what you said that you should try to deplete the enemy's MP, not your own. I'd also put my HQ or at least my 2nd truck nearer to the cutoff for reinforcements and place the captain there as well so I can both reinforce, secure more munitions territory, have heal and medics standing by and use both the captain's territory defense thing plus retreat ability. Anyways, again, very nice job, you're probably one of the few good Brit players I have seen, the faction is hard to master but once you've got it....

Also do note that recon elements are actually worse than the normal infantry section(go check the wiki article if u dont understand) but basically they have lower overall damage output so spamming them is not useful

Some reason a lot of people have been having problems. Personally I think the auto update server has gone/is down recently. But it seems to be a constant issue. May be you have a newer version (or on steam?)

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong playing as British or what but it seems like every time I do 1v1s i get my shit wrecked by 1 tank and alot of infantry spam. They load all there guys up with rocket launchers then get a panzer or some thing like that and just destroy me. I don't know how to prevent infantry spam because it seems like everyone I've played so far is doing that. Please help

its wonderful choice when you pick RC Support to take advantage in the map that make brits not just defensive but more strategically and offensive than ever in that case brits can balance your tactics specially when you flanking enemy postion.(for me flanking strategy is best for the brits)

Placing your base closer to the front line makes it easier to hold as you can get forces faster to the front line and it gives some defensive bonuses, some may say that then the foe can just kill it off, but it is actually quite hard to kill and if you would to loose all your forces you would loose the game anyways and if the enemy were to focus down the base then he would obviously loose the fight. It's gives you better defense in any case.

11:25 you do need your lieutenant at the front lines to accumulate and apply veterancy to offensive operations.

you know that a canister shot would be absolutely overkill at some points? eg when they rushed your at gun from the flank, or when the halftrack crashed into the mine and you finished it with the stuart.

One lesson for wehr player vs. brit: Take control of 1/3 early is enough - cover area with mg and mines. Use HT for field reinforcement. Go T2 for 2 PAKs to stop early stuart. Build med bunker to turn infantry losses into an advantage. Get to tier 3 and get vet 2 on your infantry section (vs.commandos). Choose Terror for Prop-War support (vs. commandos / blobs) and get King Tiger. Your strat cmasupra is good early ... but if the wehr player ignores the cutoff your get in trouble mid/late.

When the pioneers weren't shooting,the house didn't have windows facing towards your Infantry Sections in the trench. So they were unable to shoot lol.

Dude, you're really good with Brits. I only use brits in 3v3 (4v4) cause I just support artillery, I always lose in 1v1/2v2... But I'm sure about on thing: You just got a new subscriber :D

Well when you say that u need no fuel your giving them lots of fuel and then they get tanks quickly and you have no fuel for Sherman firefly

i think you and i are infantry minded commanders. in assault i always use first infantry and the armored force are for the suppoert of my infantry only stay back then assisting my assault force.

The enemy was using the pio rush tactic where he focuses on pioneers grenadiers and halftracks this is a good way to counter that nice tactic by the way

I have the same problem. And I don't have a clue on how to cost-effectively defeat Pumas. They rape inf + stuarts and can damage a cromwell pretty bad as well, considering their low cost. I don't really feel the firefly is that great, and it isn't available when Pumas first hit the field. Plus I don't know how to effectively take out PAK 38 AT guns. infantry even with brens take so god damn long time to kill the crew. Wish I had nades.

prioritizing munitions early in the game means brits cannot accumulate resources for building their defense early in the game and assault force middle of the game.

is good to have a lot of ammunition, but without fuel, this is effective against whermach but not against PE, because if they put their jager-komand fast, you run the risk of the production of Marders would attack your truck, that's beyond good video and good tactics. ImpThePimp Company of Heroes comes with Americans and Wehrmacht. Opposing Fronts comes with British and Panzer Elite. Tales of Valor comes with all 4 factions and the additional units you can use to replace a couple standard units in each faction if you want.

You're right, but for that you will need medium tanks, the Stuarts would die trying to destroy the building because they had insurance at the base resistance, again sorry for my bad English, thanks for answering

for me brits need fuel early in the game for the preparation of thier anti tank and armored assault force. but i always balance my logistic tactis for the needs of my infantry in defense and especially for offense!
