Yep, it looks incredibly OP. I can guarantee you without touching it that this will be the best BG in the game. Excellent defensive structures and long range one shot wonder tanks (Archers). What can possibly go wrong?!

With new mechanics like that, I hope theres some more creativity. Idk, stuff like: "connecting" resource points with radios and building up a web; "scorched earth" where you can temporarily destroy a resource point when losing it; "caster" units like the Coastal defense officer that you can attach to squads or vehicles (turning them into command tanks/squads); just some more unique stuff, other than just "here your big unit for this battlegroup is the elefant and you get like a temporary 20% damage to vehicles" like in CoH2 (i dont remember a single battlegroup)

The Māori Battalion would be a good addition to the game. They were a part of the African and Italian campaigns. Give me the Māori Battalion and I will conquer the world- Erwin Rommel. I doubt that he actually said this.But it made for good propaganda I guess. 🤙🏽

A few years before they released CoH 3 they consulted a lot of CoH players on what type of theatre they would like to see in a new CoH. Italy/North Africa was the winner hence what we have now. I'm sure maybe in the years to come they may do pacific

Helps that they’re not owned by SEGA now. Japanese companies shy away from any depiction or discussion of that period of their history but now that Relic is independent again it’s definitely on the table.

I’d love to see British Forces renamed to Commonwealth Forces so that Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can feel a little more independent. I don’t want to take away from the British. I just would like the “British” forces to feel unique nations rather than a British blur. I understand it was the British commonwealth and technically, they were all British so far as they were British dominions, but I’s love to see the other nations in the commonwealth boast a more unique feeling than just being another British faction. I want the British to feel British and Australians (despite being British domain) to feel like an Australian faction even though they’re under the same Union Jack banner. What do y’all think? I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

That over repair ability is the same as the advanced repair upgrade the sappers had in COH 1, otherwise very interesting battlegroup.

Because Aus and NZ were more separate in the WW2 compared to the first. Not to mention it allows them to play with the exploits in the desert of both nations (Aussies on the defence and the Kiwi's on the attack). They can easily do an infantry focused offensive group with the Kiwi's down the line now since they weren't tied down to a half-fit with an ANZAC group.

Due to the nerfs, the battle emplacemant's performance is not worth building. In addition, artillery abilities, including mortars, have been upgraded a lot, so there are a lot of counters. It's good that this battle group is coming out, but without any significant buff to battle emplacemant, I think this battle group will be in the grave as soon as it was born.

Yes! Especially with this new update. This is what it should have been in 2023. The player base is not big, but its loyal and you will not (!) have to wait ages to join matches (I only play 3v3 and 4v4)

I know that, but Costal is different ok? you must be smart to set things up, since costal reserves are let's say not the strongest, to put it mildly....... but in the Allies case this will benefit them allot since they already have good infantry game and plus from what i have seen the Australian troops seem pretty good, so they will have no difficulty "setting" things up. I believe we will see Tons of Brit player's when this dlc comes out, mark my words.

Coastal you can still use good wehr infantry. Build 1-2 coastal reserves to be builders/mine layers then make normal infantry lol. You're just whinging that the allies are now finally getting some decent options to defend points from the Nazis ​@@isaacalves97
