The CPU, which is Socket M, can be upgraded to Intel T7600 max. T7400 & T7200 as well if yhe T7600 is out of your price range (at the moment). 😉😎 My stock CPU was an Intel T2400. This can be upgraded to a T2600 as well. RAM upgrade is 4 GB (2x 2 GB) 667 MHz PC2-5300.

Hi, i changed cpu from T2300E. (1.66/2M/667). to a T7200. 2.00/4M/667 but display don't work. The pc seems to light up but no video on display. Is there something i must do after the change ? I was thinking at a bios refresh, so that it can understand the cpu has changed..... maybe a keyboard sequence..... The cpu on the service manual seems to be supported, and the bus frequency must be the same (in this case yes, is 667 mhz on both)..... So why it doesn't work ? Please help....

Did you test the laptop by connecting it to an external monitor (via VGA port on the side) ? 🤔 If you have picture then it's possible that either the inverter or the video cable is damaged.

Change the CR2032 battery. It probably has low voltage (below 2 V). The problems you are drscribing are linked to that. 😉😊
