I have Makartt and it works like a dream for me. As long as I don't get any on my cuticles (causes lifting when my nails grow out), they stay on as long as I want them to. I usually change my manicure every week and they peel right off with an orange stick. I just bought the Vettsy peel off base as well so I'm going to give that one a try.

don't sleep on Jello Jello. it's a completely different beast. i already ordered my second kit. it's so strong but the solvent is perfect and the entire thing is so seamless. i do a hard gel overlay over my nail bed as a rule, before doing anything. then i add the JJ base then, i put on my nails my usual way. when im done with them all i need is like 2 drops of the bond killer (solvent) on each nail and a soft cuticle pusher to separate the edges. less than 5 mins with minimal ache and prying. it's worth the money imo. it's $30 but worth it.

Thanks for the comparison! I have only used Koko & Clair for gel peel off base and was considering Makartt for my next one due to the $ difference but I can see to not bother wasting my money. Appreciate your time doing this for our information! 🌻

Thanks for the video! I love the makartt one for one to two day wear. Just apply over natural nails and it does the trick for making content and then popping them off. I’ll definitely be giving the K&C one a try for a longer wear option

My Makartt peel off base comes off immediately once I am done with a set of nails I don't need to soak and I don't even need to put cuticle oil. All I have to do is wiggle the nail from side to side and it pops right off. I refuse to pay the price for the Daily Charm peel off base.

Makartt comes off very easily or it starts to peel off on its own after 3 days of wearing if you don't apply regular base coat underneath.

Thanks so much!! 🥹 I’m glad you find them helpful 💜 I have fiddled with peel bases for so long, I just hate efile removal 😂 I have managed to make Makartt work a bit better once since this vid but I feel like it’s just too finicky and not worth it. Not to say it won’t work for anyone, but for me it’s a constant struggle balancing pop offs and removal that actually peels… I hope the Moo brand works well for you!

My favorite peel off base is the BLANC DE BLUE Dr. Care+ Handy base - Peel off base gel. I've had on my apres gel press-ons for a month now and they still have not budged. I'm keeping them on this long to see how long they will last.

@@hammypie I had them removed when I got my nails professionally done in the salon so I haven't removed them myself yet. But the my nails ended up staying on for 6 weeks before they started lifting due to natural grow out.

I love your videos! New to at home nails and haven’t yet invested in peel off. But I’m ruining my nails (and cuticles) by constantly fling and acetone them off! Yikes. So while I’ve resisted because of price, based on your videos it appears you do indeed get what you pay for💁‍♀️

Would you say I could use almost any brand of gel polish over the K&C base? Their website said only flexible gel polishes applied on top of the base will peel off effectively- does that ring true to you, or is it not that difficult?

Thanks for watching! 🥹💜 99% of gel polishes are soft and flexible enough to work from my experience. There are “hard gel” polishes that come in pots and I think that’s what they mean not to use. Every polish I’ve used has peeled off just fine 😁

Have you tried using cuticle oil instead of water to pop them off? I’m looking at some korean peel off base videos and they all sneak in oil under the gel and it pops right off. If the amazon ones works the same I’d love to save money!

I think you might be talking about the hello hello gel nail base which comes with a cuticle oil that will basically dissolve the base. It’s so good but kind of pricey due to it having to be imported into the US

Vettsy has a peel-off base coat that air dries that I would love to see how it works with gelx nails. I've tried madam glams peel-off base coat before and it has never worked for me. I couldn't get it to peel off at all.

I’m lining some products up to compare some air dry peel base coats like UNT, but for now my videos are all about gel ones. I can’t say whether air dry ones will work with my tutorial yet!

Has anyone 'invested' in the Jello Jello + One Kill combo? I type all day and would really love to know how good that is because I've seen them removed in less than 10 minutes. Thanks for the video and testing! At least now I know there are others out there.

I would sell a limb to ensure i always have jello jello + one kill combo on hand at all times. It is the best peel base I have ever used in my life for gel-x extensions!

It's the best!! I can get 10 days of wear with this (I only wear short to medium lengths though) and I'm not particularly careful. The removal is a dream with the one kill.
