I was able to get the sundolfin American 12' in camo from Tractor Supply last month for $559 so for the money I'm pleased. The boat is also pre wired for a trolling motor so I can keep the wiring neat

You forgot to say the Sun dolphin American 12 from tractor supply in camo also comes pre-wired with 10 gauge wire from the back to the front. That's how my boat came from tractor supply All the wires are ran inside the boat from the back to the front.

Fuck sun dolphin! Such a shitty situation on top kayak. So small and the back support was more painful than supportive. 1000lb rating but I was sinking at 350lbs even past the stuppers. Sun dolphin is the by far shittiest kayak brand. 2 part seals from these guys don't exist and they will still charge you for a new seal that also doesn't work. Perception is a way better company for kayaks and the pilot 12 is amazing. Definitely the flagship in pedal drive kayak and still 1200 cheaper than a barrow hobbie with 800lbs capacity still 400lbs less than an pescador pilot 12!

Academy by my house has the Pelican Intruder in stock right now for $649. If you want a 12’ Jon boat, the best option is the Lowe 1240 aluminum boat. Here in Oklahoma, it gets so hot that the plastic boats heat up and flex so much they are nearly unusable.

Got mine 519 tractor supply last one there.I noticed it sitting for 2-3 years with water in it of course you have to have a deal.After drying it out is now stored in the garage with my truck. Harbor freight 4 x 8 trailer ideal for this boat dressed up nicely with a winch and jackstands for another 800 and you got your set up.

TSC has the American 12 on sale for under 500 right now. I went to go buy one as my first "real" boat and was very underwhelmed. The 2 boats tsc had were dirty, scratched badly (probably dragged across the parking lot), full of water between 2 halves, staples that held the 2 halves together were rusty. Plastic was thinner than I expected, very flimsy boat. I didn't realize I was that picky until i saw it with my own eyes. Is the pelican intruder 12 any better? Looking at used aluminum and saturn inflatables now.

I have a pelican kayak, made from ram-x. It tears up as easy as anything else, but ive gone over rocks and dropped it on the ground, no dents or anything.

Hey on the 12 foot pond prowler when do you find a trailer for it in reading about it. The measurements show it will not fit in a pick up truck. Thank you I have enjoyed your videos and shared them with a couple of people.

Tractor supply has there's at $599, but don't carry in my stores , shipping is $240 so that puts it more than Cabelas and Academy. Academy has the pelican intruder in stock for $649. The sun dolphin is $799.

🌴 So the one thing I’ve noticed on all these plastic boats is they haven’t really designed one nor of a bass boat or a saltwater flats skiff design with a large flat bow platform or one in the back , they also lack flotation foam Incase of a hull puncture, they rely on air pocket buoyancy , not good , also why couldn’t they design them in a regular low wide V Hull shape ?

Sun dolphin kayaks suck sun dolphin boats also suck anything made by Sun Dolph and will legitimately suck. Especially for the price.
