Maybe you could work with them and make pontoon/ John boat hybrid that’s affordable . Also please convince them to remove the ribbed flooring and draining a lot easier.

😊reminds me of the time the wife and me went to the keys while she was 6 months pregnant and we kayaked all day even took a wrong turn and ended up in a main channel where the boats didn’t care we were there. Still a great time though. We still talk about that till this day and that was 8 years ago. 😂😂😂

I have a 1436 aluminum jon boat..9.8 tohatsu..Time usb 50 amp hr battery and I can usually go fishing 8 full days before the bms will click off on the battery.. thats using the trolling motor, lowrance 9" and led lights...I'm amazed how much lighter and longer these batteries last....well worth the money !!!

I as others have been, have been watching your videos on the Prowler as I intend to get one. I am an old man with many health issues and my big boat is no longer fun to try to deal with. So, I have been checking out the mods for the Prowler and like it for the stability and that it will get me and my wife back on the water. When Jesus delivers you from something, it is a done deal, no side effects. The seed was planted in you, several people watered you and then finally you surrendered to the Holy Spirit. It is never of our power but of His. When one actually stops and really looks back, they can see His hand was there all along, even though we were not worthy of His Love, He was there. We serve a Great and Mighty God, the True and Living God that not only hears our prayers but answers them. He has 3 basic answers, the immediate "yes", the "door slammed no," and the "yes but not right now." The not right now might be days, weeks, months or even years later but His timing is always perfect. The only limitations with God are you, your faith or lack of. He is totally about the relationship and trust. He tells us over and over in the bible to fear not but to trust Him no matter what. When you seek to please Him, you listen to and obey the Holy Spirit, He will bless your socks off. You will begin to see how blessed you really are. Your wife is finally getting the man that she was really hoping for. You are finally understanding what true peace and joy is. Glad to be able to call you Brother now and welcome to the Family of God.

I’m planning to use plywood panels to do the flooring in my Sun dolphin boat. As you, I want them to be removable as well. Do you see any issues with using plywood other than a bit more weight?

No one seems to want to talk about mounting a front mounted foot operated trolling motor. If you bass fish a lot, you quickly realize how stressfull and time consuming it is to use a rear mount hand controlled motor. This boat doesn't look conducive to a front mount due to the extruded lips and I tugged on one at BP only to find it was very flimsly.

I thought I was the only one who did this 😅

The Sun Dolphin is just landfill material. For 600 or $700, I would buy a 1960s or 70s 14 aluminum v hull boat (make sure it doesnt leak or have any loose rivets or silicone caulking) (If you want a 16 ft, try to find a 1960s to 70s 16ft Starcraft, they have really nice deep vee hulls, be prepared to gut it and put in a new plywood floor in it). After that I would save for a 15 hp Johnson (1997 to 2006) ($1500 used) or a modern 20hp 4 stroke Yamaha ($2000 used).

Greatest upgrade to my kayak......jon boat :)) Stryker 4 and lowrance hook2......interchangeable on how well they perform for the price. Nocqua battery for them makes life easy.

James 2:19 was the verse that God chose to use to draw me to true salvation. This was encouraging because I sometimes struggle with how to be used when I like to fish so much as a semi retired guy. The key is to be praying and ready to go where and speak to who God has you to be a light to. Praise the Lord for Shawn being obedient. The most wonderful feeling this I ever feel is when I share the Good news of salvation from my selfish sins. When done talking, many times, I cannot articulate what I said to someone. I sense they is God protecting me from becoming proud of how I spoke to someone. The best thing about heaven will be they I will see God for who He is clearly as we are told in His Word that right now we only see dimly. Also, I personally will never sin again.
