It's probably cheating because I also own both and there's definitely a difference with stabilization, the full frame "look", and color science really gave it away but I also edit footage from both daily. That said, you could use them in the same video without telling anyone and nobody would ever know. Do you use the low light setting for low light shots? I've always used dlog but if the low light setting is better I might try that.

So interestingly I’ve always wondered that too. I have been using the auto a lot because Jake Sloan (KZbinr) said he liked it. I usually just lower the EV and sharpness. I feel like it comes out great. I have shot in Log, but I seem to like auto better. For low light I just shoot in normal as well. I didn’t see a big difference in low light did you?

@@jostalkingNo, I haven’t really noticed a difference with the low light option. I like D-Log for the simple fact that I can match the color to the ZV-E1 really well. I like PP11 on the ZV. Honestly my viewers would never notice a difference but I do lol

The pocket 3 is sold out in Norway, only one store has it in the entire country in the north of Norway. 930 km far away 😂 Now I have a full time job, I have been struggling to find time to upload 😢

Quality between the two were exceptional. Image stabilization was better on the DJI, and auto focus was better on the Sony, but if they weren't side by side, I wouldn't have been able to tell. Great review 👏

The stabilization, especially when the camera is moving around is a dead give-away. Pocket 3 is a great camera but it wasn't the best for me. I don't set the camera down to record myself nor do I use "selfie" mode and talk to the camera often. I needed zoom for variation of focal lengths and so for now, the ZV-1 is the best camera for me. Best balance of all kinds of shooting, quality, and portability. You really don't know what's best for yourself until you try different setups

@@jostalking For me and my use, the picture quality of the Pocket is sufficient, but I need zoom. Most of the time, my iPhone 12 pro has good enough picture quality and it has zoom (with the telephoto lens). Unfortunately, I don't always like the computational stuff it does to the exposure most times. ZV1 is best for my needs. ZVe10 or ZVe1 are too big to be an everyday carry and overkill for my needs

I knew it was dji at the part inside your house because the camera was pointed to high up. I find that I am ALWAYS READJUSTING IT!

Most of the dji footage was focused upwards. I notice it immediately because I am always fighting this 😂. If you lock it out it gives you a better straight forward level image.

@@jostalking all the time. The drift of the camera pointing upwards is really driving me nuts though. I have tried locking it but that limits how you capture footage. Honestly, if GoPro can make a camera without a gimbal with the pockets lowlights performance…. I would go back to GoPro. I really do like the simplicity and durability of GoPro but the pockets video quality and sound is so much better!

I've guessed most of the shots with movement. DJI camera gimbal smooths out the footage whilst on the Sony camera it's shaky and we can see the micro jitters on the corners. On still shots, it's difficult to tell...

These comparison are pointless. Both are great at what they do but it's extremely easy to tell which is which. The pocket 3 has no depth whatsover and comes with a rather jarring gimbal movement for daily vlog use case. It works well when use with intention while the E1 is a full frame sensor with plenty of depth even with a cheap kit lens.

Thanks for your comment, but I do feel like there is some depth of field with the 2.0 aperture. But no where close to the Sony. However when doing a side by side I was surprised at how compatible the cameras could be if you colored them properly. Appreciate you stopping by.

While the image quality is great, you can definitely tell when it is the Pocket 3 if you know what you're looking at and for.
