This video helped me so much with my AT Gold, kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXq9dn-hnclroc0 Amazing knowledge that helped me so much. Now I've detected .3g piece of gold in a highly mineralized creek, he tells you the way to set up medal detectors in a easy to understand way and I learned A LOT!

though I had some problem with sea water It also kzbin.infoUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

I really like the way you recorded the video to show the screens of the detectors in action and wish more videos would include that to viewers get a chance to see what they show in use.

Thanks for doing this comparison! Well done. It would be nice if the AT Gold had that coin indicator on it like the Pro does.

AT gold can be a pain in the butt when working in heavily trashed areas. i usually keep my disc at 30 but I cant even pick out a target (gold nugget or coin). The sounds blend into a jumble of high and low pitches.

thanks for the comparison vid I use an At Pro atm and am toying with the idea of the At Gold , I do a lot of beach work as well as farm and woodland , im now thinking it might be worth keeping the At Pro though for the beach instead of selling it

Nice comparison. I tried them both out a year or so ago when I was shopping around and I decided on the AT Pro. Both are great machines for the money.

Im new to this and thinking of getting an AT PRO. I want to coin relic and gold hunt. I live near beaches and was wondering why the AT GOLD is not recommended for Salt water?

At 18Khz it should be enough to find gold, keeping in mind that 10ft is more than enough. It's not a cheap detector, but I'm planning on buying it.
