Comparing Kurgo Baxter backpack and Mountainsmith backpack

Thanks! You just saved me from what I think would have been a regrettable purchase. The Mountainsmith looks good, the better of the two options, but I think I'm going to go with the Ruffwear Approach or Front Range. They get great reviews from avid hikers and don't have the issue of snagging on underbrush. It's about the same price as the Mountainsmith.

I liked it too but it didn't fit my dog very well. He's a weird shape though!
