Is this K9 tire the older version with thin sidewalls? I see the new and improved K9 Supergrip xt is what is out now and don't know when they made the change.

K9s need to let some air out of the tires.

Cool video bro! Just put some 32 roxxzillas on my general, gonna find out if they badass or bust this weekend on Hatfield. Going to test them against my buddy that has carnivores.

I absolutely love my k9s my only issue is that you really can't compare them to the roxzillas using 2 different machines and I've already put 1,400 miles on mine here at Windrock park and don't have the slightest sidewall scratch on mine
@bigred10324 жыл бұрын
We say many times in the video we realize they are on different machines. But also I've seen sidewall and puncture issues on a bunch of different forums concerning the k9s. I'm glad you have had good luck with them.

BIGRED1032 offroad videos oh I agree totally with you but I have literally hit rocks so hard with mine that it's took 1/4 inch chunks out of my beadlock bands and it may be that I'm running a 10 inch wide wheel that helps me not have sidewall issues and by no means am I knocking the roxzillas they are absolutely great tires but I've seen so many reviews about the k9s and everyone downing them you know

@@localboysoffroad8883 ya and honestly I don't think they're a bad tire I just am such a big fan of the zillas after having them for a while. To each there own and im happy with anything that performs well

@@trevorbraden5448 better than you might think. The last few times out have been muddy messes and they still perform better than my buddies with different tires

Your boy are making my tires looks bad 😅. Just kidding man lol. It looked like he was getting comfortable towards the end. He crawled Stairway to the moon like a pro. Curious, do you have the softest Zilla compound? If so, they are quite a bit softer than the K9 intermediates. K9 will have the Zilla like compound in the next gen. I agree that the Zilla is better in the wet nasty rock. That has been my only complaint. They have other advantages though. I took my standard compound K9's out to Moonlight and they did phenomenal on the nasty dirt hill climbs (tow strap, go steep or go home, that old race hill next to pussy bypass) . They didn't do as well on Rock n Roll Hill. That is nasty and wet and made for a sticky when it's not dry lol. I haven't got to try out the Intermediates yet I am excited to see how they work though. Good video though man! Great driving too! Congrats on Tow Strap! That is an accomplishment to be proud of 👏 🙌 !

haha i know i feel kinda bad because hes still learning his machine. learning and sending at the same time sometimes ends bad lol. im pretty sure i have the intermediate compound but i could be wrong. ill have to check that. i have total faith the k9s will end up being a great tire for jd, i almost hated to post that... but just gotta be real and share our experience. ive seen you rock the k9s to great effect lol. Thanks man ive been wanting to do that for a long time. video makes it look like nothing but that sucker is scary sitting at the bottom of it. i havnt rolled my rzr in a while so i told my self a few weeks ago im gonna stop bein a pu**y haha. thanks for watching man i really appreciate it! hope the house is gettin close!

@@bigred1032 absolutely man. He'll figure it out. Nothing wrong with posting what happened and your results. I have my concerns with them too and have reported it. It's an amazing tire though and I still believe in them. There has only been a couple times where they haven't prevailed. As far as the new machine I understand. I had to learn how to drive again in the buggy. I knew exactly what the full body could do and how to do it. The buggy is a gamechanger though. You need one lol! Tow strap is a scary mofo dude. It's one of the most intimidating hills I've hit.. I hit it once in my full body and once in an X3, and of course the buggy . Every time I was praying I wouldn't die 😄. House is getting there! My buggy is getting some stuff redone on it in the meantime too. She is gonna be meaner and badder than before! We need to get together and collaborate when things slow down for me.
