I been using this in mic mode. Pressed in. And having issues with no sound in one of them. Using as PA tops. Could this be my problem? They need to be depressed/outm

Only use mic mode if yourplugging amic directly into the speaker. In all other scenarios use line level

great tip man! just a question though I just bought a dB tech cromo 12+ its a 2 way speaker i want to play music and put a mic into it has two inputs which is parallel to each other one XLR and one jack, i put my speakers into mic mode but im hearing a buzz noise is that alright!?!

No. The stereo output from your device is clipping the input. You need a trs cable split . you cant run a stereo signal into Mono amp.youmust split the signal into two mono amps.

Much of that difference between line and mic is the level of the gain.. you can turn the gain up or down to achieve a similar connection.]
