Remember that when you are talking about $9.00 for a pair of glasses it's closer to being $7.00 in the US. Having been an optician for many years and having the pleasure of working with a bevy of wonderful, sweet young ladies I was fortunate to witness the many pairs they were ordering from numerous glasses sites. And since nearly all of them wore glasses I saw quite few pairs of glasses from those sites. Also you should know that they each were provided a yearly eye exam as well as new glasses every 6 months as a part of their benefit package. All of them with the exception of one was nearsighted and since they all rather weak prescriptions similar to each other they often traded glasses with each other. So they seldom were seen wearing the same glasses two days in a row. When new frames arrived it was very much like Christmas day to them. They couldn't wait to start trying on every frame. Anyway thanks to them I soon had 3 sites I thought were the best ones and best value for the dollar. The sites are Zenni Optical, Lensmart and Payne Glasses. They each have very nice selections of glasses and under $7.00. Now as you correctly stated they all price their glasses differently. For example Zenni includes single vision lenses as free or included in the price. Bu they consider an AR coating (anti-reflective) an option for $4.95. The other sites charge between $5.00 and $6.95 for their single vision lenses but include the AR coating in the lens price. Eye Buy Direct I like but their base price of their glasses is slightly more than the 3 sites I mentioned. However EBD does run a "Two for One" promotion that makes their glasses a very good deal. Your prescription is pretty basis. Not all that strong but more than enough to require you to wear glasses or contacts fulltime. You able to see well enough to not walk into a wall without glasses but driving a car without glasses would be pretty much like a thrill ride at an amusement park. Very scary. You look really good wearing glasses by the way. The glasses you had on around the 9:30 mark couldn't be a better fit on you.
