Personally I LOVE the video card on my old version of papershoot, its fun for short clips of concerts, parties, stuff like that, I like the vibe of a film photo on videos

The metal strap looks so cheap and ugly too. I wish they just made a normal strap. Maybe you could remove the chain and just leave the loops?

the 1st version is by far much more better, new actually just looks like any picture taken with any random phone but with extra steps, quite sad as i really wanted to get one myself. hope they make a new version that's genuenily better cuz this was just 100% an intentional downgrade to keep on selling filters, which is quite a shame :(

What a shame about the metal strap - I agree, for a company that says they are sustainable that's really disappointing.

I think they swapped the sepia to a "warm" tone. Instead of that proper strong orangey-brown filter.

I like the sepia of the old papershoot. There's just something on that first version that you can't let go just bec the other one is typeC plus shuttersounds and indicators.

Same about shipping. I'm in the UK and this is not an inexpensive camera, I understand the cost and credentials of this lovely camera, however when shipping adds another £30+ GBP to the costs just makes it way too expensive for me when I can get a used old CCD point and shoot for much less. such a shame there are no other outlets.

I have the 13MP and the 16MP and I’ll be honest, I actually prefer my 13MP. I think the newer PaperShoot Cameras don’t deliver that vintage/nostalgic look that I prefer in my photos. ☺️ Great Video.

Interestingly, unlike other comments, i more prefer new one because it's vivider and closer to its original color. I think the old one distorts the natural color and only makes color of the photo look all same. So most 16mp users rarely used the sepia filter.

Best: Zennioptical. I get my Test Lenses from them. Then, I prescribed for my self. From 20/60, to 20/20. Refractive change. -0.75 diopters to +0.5 diopters. Yes, I got out of myopia.

That is a excellent honest review I'm thinking. I have been using mostly Zenni optical and I have had mostly good experiences, but their XL eye glasses frames are not that good of lately for what I desire so I went to Eyebuydirect and they have the best XL sizes for a wide face. Once you know your frame width for comfort the rest of frame needs seems easier to pinpoint your wants on EBD. Customer Service at EBD is great and they work with you has been my experience and they now have a loyalty plan they just introduced also that can have very good sales discounts for savings of your some hard earned money. My prescription at EBD was spot on so I'm happy and my frames (AXIS, XL) where $22 Canadian and they are good quality and affordable to at least give EBD a try IMO. So I have bought 3 pairs from EBD recently and they are very reasonable company to deal with IMO. Zenni if you study what you need and order correctly they are great and prices can be great also. Zenni prescription accuracy is reasonably accurate also and they where good to deal with on my overall experience so far over the last 9 years. EBD has good company representatives to deal with questions on the phone (customer service ) and EBD have a very large inventory of frame selection of inhouse and other brands + quality is great, so I'm thinking they are doing their best to keep customers happy + satisfied customers will return to buy again hopefully is their model ! EBD has lots of sales so keep your eyes for a bargain + first time buyers get a 30% discount and shipping free for 1st time customer is what I used and it was a good experience. EBD search engine for the glasses I wanted(very similar to Zenni search engine also) is easy to navigate. As for other companies you have mentioned I have not dealt with them so I have no comments to offer!

Hello, I bought my vanguard camera version in 2021 and it has 13 mp, and micro usb 😢

I have one of those too but mine can make calls and go online, shoot videos, play games... I love how you have to take the pictures off of your camera to put on your phone (that has a camera) in order to make more room to take more pictures haha. I enjoyed the video. You have a nice online quality about you ;)

watching this video has honestly made me very upset! I just bought the new wes anderson limited edition astroid city camera and it was 18MP only. I'm gonna get my hadns on it first before i make my final judgement but the whole point of the camera is so it looks filmy and the 18mp photos dont?! I wanna cry this was legit my birthday present idk what to do

Wow, this makes me want to wait for a third version! I've been following them since the beginning but have had reservations, really nice to see the comparisons between the two cameras.

I made an order from Clearly and I'm waiting for them to arrive. I have a large lens size so options can be pretty limited, and I was between Clearly and Eyebuydirect, but Clearly was way cheaper. Got 2 pairs for $41CAD! Hopefully they're decent. And yes, blue light filters are a scam because pretty much every device you use like your smartphone or computer will have colour profile options. You can lower the blue levels in your devices for free. Windows, for example, has the "night light" feature which turns the screen a yellow/ orange colour, which is what happens when you lower blue and green levels. I just leave that on. I worked in data entry for almost 6 years, so I was staring at computer screens for 8+ hours a day. Initially, I would get headaches and sore eyes, but after lowering the brightness and lowering blue levels, I rarely ever had problems again. And any ambient blue light isn't enough to cause any damage to you. Never get blue light coatings. For a full explanation on the subject, CBC Marketplace did a full investigative piece on it and the full video can be found on youtube! :)

I'm glad I came across your video before purchasing. I'm just disappointed with the quality of the B&W filter on the new version-it has this warm tone and it sucks. Another issue with the new version is the blown-out highlights. The older version is better on this one. Gonna wait for their update before getting one.
