I have an essential oil scent diffuser necklace, and I use the polyester felt sheets as scent pads to put inside the diffuser locket. And they hold in the oils rather well--while slowly releasing scents. I have a variety of felt sheet colors to correspond with whatever particular oil I may use in my locket; such as pink for grapefruit oil, green for peppermint oil... and so forth. It just takes a lot of cutting of the shapes. Now, because of the size and depth of my locket, I have to double the pads. I can get around 84 scent pads out of one felt sheet. They are reasonably priced, depending on where you purchase them.

No, the polyester felt is still a really nice quality material. It does have a different feel though. The wool is a little softer. I recommend ordering a sample of each to see for yourself what will work best for your projects!

Its really personal preference! The blend would probably be my preference because it is the most durable and will not stretch when tugged on, but you could also use the polyester material.

It may, I would recommend using velcro on one side if you really need it to stick (or if the felt board is hanging on a wall) If it is just sitting on a table, I think this would be fine!

Hey do you know if i can use polyester felt for the outside lining of a projector screen? Meaning, will it block out light so that when the projector is shining light on top of the polyester felt edges the light won't be visible? Thanks :)

Felt will not block all the light. We suggest blackout drapery lining when completely blocking light is the goal. I'm making religious scapulars which are usually not taken off. So they get sweaty and worn in the shower. Was wondering if getting wet/soapy from the shower would hurt them. Each part of the scapular is about 1 1/2 x 1/1/2. Thank you.

Yes, handwashing with cold water and a gentle detergent is recommended but it's also possible to machine wash on cold with the delicate cycle.
