We took all the routes mentioned in this video. Switzerland is worth visiting more than twice. We visited 5x. Great information 👍🏼on this video.

An absolutely superb video! I am a regular visitor to Switzerland and this video is a brilliant summary of the choices available. In particular, I would stress the point that Grindelwald TERMINAL is outside the village and not a place where you would want to break your journey.

Hi! Very informative video, thank you! I actually booked my tickets just as you showed in the video. I have a question regarding the timing on my Jungfraujoch ticket. The ticket shows a journey from Grindelwald Terminal to Jungfraujoch at 09:15 and a return trip at 11:47 from Jungfraujoch to Kleine Scheidegg. Do I need to travel only at these specific times, or is it flexible enough for me to visit Grindelwald First on the way up and Lauterbrunnen on the way down? Thanks for your help!
@myswissalps4 ай бұрын
You're most welcome! If you have seat reservations too (for the train on the last segment), you need to travel at the indicated times. In that case, I'd recommend to go up to Jungfraujoch first, visit Lauterbrunnen next in the early afternoon, and end at Grindelwald-First later in the afternoon: www.myswissalps.com/activity/grindelwald-first/. Without reservations, you can travel at any time. If in doubt, feel free to post your ticket to the forum for further assistance: www.myswissalps.com/community/forum/questions/

@@myswissalps Thanks for replying, you mean to say while returning, I can stop in Lauterbrunnen and from there I can go to Grindelwald-First later? (I have a reservation and in the ticket this mentioned : JOURNEY 09:15 Grindelwald Terminal - Jungfraujoch, RETURN TRIP11:47 Jungfraujoch - Kleine Scheidegg)
@myswissalps4 ай бұрын
@@siddharthsharmahy Yes, exactly. You'd first complete the entire Jungfraujoch trip according to the reserved times, and then you're under no time-pressure for the rest of your plans. Do check the timetable in advance because it's quite a full day: www.myswissalps.com/travel/public-transport/timetable/

which is the cheapest one and approximately how much?
@myswissalps19 күн бұрын
All routes cost the same but the price varies based on the type of train pass you have (or no pass). You'll find prices here: www.myswissalps.com/activity/jungfraujoch/#price

Thank you for the great video! Are there WCs on the trains up to Jungfraujoch?
@myswissalps3 ай бұрын
You are most welcome! I've never seen toilets on those trains. The longest you'll be on one train is 40 minutes, and all the stations have toilets.

Hi, could you please confirm are the trains and cable car covered under Swiss travel pass? Thx
@myswissalps2 ай бұрын
Yes, with the Swiss Travel Pass, the trains are free up to Wengen and Grindelwald. All routes from there to Jungfraujoch are 25% discounted. You'll find all pass discounts here www.myswissalps.com/activity/jungfraujoch/#discounts and here www.myswissalps.com/travel-ticket/swiss-travel-pass/#discounts-mountain

What about the half fare card? Do we need to buy train tickets separately?
@myswissalps2 ай бұрын
@@Sankhsarkar1 With the Swiss Half Fare Card, you'd buy a 50% discounted ticket for the Jungfraujoch trip. That's the discount regardless of which route you take. You can go here to see how it works and what's covered: www.myswissalps.com/travel-ticket/swiss-half-fare-card/

We are gonna be staying in Grindelwald. Any suggestions on which route to take.
@myswissalps5 ай бұрын
You could take route 2 up and 3 down. Or for most variety, route 2 up and 1 down, and back to Grindelwald by changing trains in Zweilütschinen. Feel free to post here if you need more advice: www.myswissalps.com/community/forum/questions/
