I have to agree with your top five. Here in Northwest Arkansas there are a lot of clear creeks and streams to toss a small bait into and get bit by smallmouth. I rarely throw anything over five inches in these waters, so Ned rigs work well.

I have seen that Yum ned kit and always consider buying it. So glad I haven’t cause in comparison to the rest, it totally flatlines. The Roboworm has more movement than I thought and the Googan underperformed IMO. I have to agree that ZMan is just the best hands down. They have great colors, last forever, super buoyant, and not too expensive. Win win win win.

If I’m going to use a Ned bait I use the TRD it’s the most durable and fish hold onto them the longest. If I want more action I use a swimbait. Remember we are talking NED baits less is usually more using this technique.

I use mister twister pocket frys, I cut them in half so I get20 Ned worms. They have dimples that trap air and release bubbles!

yes I have most of those ned baits my favs are the rabid baits foxtail. I have never tried the zman ned bait before

Try riot bait ned baits. Different but the smash cause they use maribou. I use them all over the place in Northern Cali reservoirs in 20-40ft

My tackle box has become an altoid tin with a few clips, mushroom heads, and trd's with very few colors and a few micro size. You can slap em on a stick with string and catch fish, and ya can't fish em wrong. I've gone full ned head for minimalism years ago so I can always have a tiny setup and a full ned armory right in a side pocket of a pack.

Great content brotha! Once I got on the Ned Rig, I haven’t been able to get off it - I consistently catch fish with them. Z-man products have been my top producers and most durable by far, but I’m going to try throwing a few different types this season.

It’s just something I’ve picked up and want to try more. I’m a smallie guy mostly and one day when I wasn’t catching a thing, the Ned pulled in 3, in consecutive a casts. Another brand of Ned you should look into is by Gajo.

Zman coppertreuse is my favorite color by far. Caught most of my fish on that color here in Michigan. Not even sure why I take anything else. I never end up using other worms lol.

Yum Ned dingers are for pond fishing. I fish Cayuga lake and my favorite Ned rig is zman trd or the trd ticklers.

I have a couple of packs of Ned rig plastics from some MTB boxes. I don’t have any Ned heads but I’m trying to get some. Once I get them what time of year should I use them? Is it just like a jig? Anyways great video 😀

Love ned rigging & TRDs. Xzone has caught me some too. Same with both the strike king baits. A few on lunkerhunt (same color). Nothing on Missile bait but have only took out once. Haven't tried the others. Rattles seem intriguing. Also Karl's bug. Liked the air bubbles it released. Rabid looks good but can't get past the durability. Too many toothy critters where I fish. Have you tried the TRD Ticklerz? Have caught a few with them. Warmer Temps coming. Hopefully I'll get the chance to throw chrt duece colored TRD. Thanks for bait review videos. Have a good one.

TRD is great. Ned Bomb had great action. I can't get passed the foxtail looking like the lovechild of the troll dolls from the 60's and Beaker from the Muppet Show.

I’m sure other brands work well, but I only use Z-Man soft plastics. Their spinnerbaits are good, too. By the way, if any of you fish rivers/creeks in SE Missouri, the Ned rig sucks. Don’t ever use it. Pretty please.
