I actually have a decent amount of respect to Sam here. The song they chose for the contest was effectively a girl-power song, so any dude who wanted to enter the contest is going to struggle to dance naturally to it. The contest should have had more than one song to choose from tbh.

Nothing about the songs lyrics say girl power 😭 I think what you meant is that the song has a feminine style, which means he still could have a chance as the song also has an air of sass and confidence that he uses in his dance.

@@shrimpshufflr7745 Even if "Girl Power" was a bit overkill, the fact is male dancers were limited to a single song of strictly female sass about a woman realizing she got everything she wanted. "Boys call you sexy, but you don't care what they say, cause every second you turn around they're screaming your name". This is a song that is geared better to a female dancer, and they still should have had more than one song choice, especially when "Rockafella Shank" and "Walk Like An Egyptian" were pushed as hard as they were.

There’s plenty of men that dance and sing to songs made by woman. I think that’s just a skill issue on your part if you can’t dance when a woman is singing, but if this song was sung by a man instead Sam still doesn’t have the vibe that the other two girls have 💀
