If you place the o-ring in the cover, it can drop out of place when installing the cover on the housing and you won’t know it. The way it is now provides greater assembly assurance.

Interesting comparison. I own a 2021 2025R and the specs, as best I recall, are 6 gpm fluid flow. So, lets say I'm fully stopped, trying to lift a full load of dirt with my NSL loader. What I've noticed is that if I'm raising the full load I can't curl the loader bucket at the same time, so I curl the bucket first and then lift it, doing each action separately. I've no problem using this method, but when I see really talented operator's running monster rigs doing both actions at the same time while also backing up and turning I admire their skill level and understand that they are on the clock and working faster, too. A 9 gpm pump may be in my future but right now I'm happy with the 6 gpm and 25 hp, given the overall size/weight of the 2025R. Thanks again for the informative video!

I had written a reply to this comment, but it got lost somewhere (it was really amazing, too ;) ) Your experience is typical when using the stock pump and divider setup and while it does take skill to do multiple functions at once, the problem on smaller tractors is not lack of skill, it's lack of flow. Stock, the flow is so low that while you can do 2 functions at WOT, when you do, it's slow. With HydrosPlus, the extra flow makes it so much easier and when you are doing 2 at once, it's fast enough to be useful. If you decide to get HydrosPlus, you'll know what I mean, but it really transforms the tractor and makes it work and feel completely different. Check out the review on my website for some additional feedback and thanks for the comment!

Will a 2025 pump work on a 1023 tractor
@HydrosPlus3 жыл бұрын
Yes, a 2025R pump will work on a 1023E assuming it's a later model 1023 and you're talking about the 2nd Gen 2025R pump. Around 2014, they changed the design of the 1 series pump slightly. The newer models use a hose elbow and clamps to connect the pump where the older style used 3 socket cap screws and the metal tube went all the way to the pump housing. The down side is that without the HydrosPlus kit, the flow is still split evenly, so only 1/2 the incremental flow goes to the implements where you really need it. Where you get about 3.5 GPM to the implements with the 1023E stock pump, you get just a little over 4 with the 2025R pump. If you add the HydrosPlus kit without a pump, you will get between 5.25 and 5.75 GPMs to the implements depending on how aggressively you tune it. The 2025R pump and the HydrosPlus kit are about the same price, but you get over 1 GPM more than you can get with the 2025R pump.

Any chance on a bigger pump for Kubota bx?

Working on it. It's a little more complex because the flow divider is integrated into the pump. Hopefully this year...

Quick question, if you change the pump or use your new pump, what will the relief valve need to be set to. As I could see it, adding a pump of a higher pressure but not adjusting the relief valve pressure gives you nothing in performance/ higher pressure or am I wrong? 🧐🤔

I believe, after watching some of the vids, that the purpose is not to increase lift power (FEL) or strength of the backhoe to rip roots, but to only increase the speed of travel. The higher GPM pumps do nothing to increase pressure. And for over 1100USD for the 9 GPM pump means absolutely nothing to me but that's just my opinion.

I'm not sure how I missed this comment 4 months ago, but better late than never...right? :) The relief valve setting up up to the user, but the spec is 2000PSI +/- 150 PSI. Larger pumps don't create higher pressure regardless of the application, but rather they create more flow. So you can't lift more by just adding a larger pump, but you can lift it faster. In the case of small tractors like this, faster is less important that having enough flow to do multiple functions at once.

@@liffy8333 Gph = speed not essentially power. I agree. Also, the ability of the tractor to have the load increased by this is not essentially the best idea. . Steel used , weight and balance of the tractor cylinder sizes and material and many other things I don't even know about.

The email can’t make it through for some reason. I have a 1026r that needs a pump. Do you sell the 2025r pumps or can you point me in the right direction?
