I absolutely would have chose your CUSTOM over the official. I would still say your custom was the model for the official, so u had the first official. Also amazing how you took out the prescription vials (orange tubes) and replace with your version. You are spot on correct with that !!!

I didn’t realize how small the mega phantom was until I saw it next to this one! I know that it’s a moc, but yours looks sooooo damn good, the detail is amazing, and the doors look so much better than the official one! I hope we get a signature build of this set like the spirit, that would allow it to be just as good as yours! Great video and keep up the awesome work!

Thanks Chief, I think a sig series build of my Phantom would defiteley be possible if they wanted to. The spirit is an increadible build and proves what they can do if the budget allows.

Your Phantom is a thing of beauty. I like the Halo Wars 2 version of the Phantom much better than the Infinite one myself. I do like the infinite version but if I was going to get one or the other I'd rather have my Phantom be a Signature Series set version. The size is so amazing. I will take your Banished Phantom over an Elephant any day

Thank you. I too would have preferred a sig series HH2 Phantom but at least this way they tested the water with the Infinite version and can use the feedback form the community to help create a possible future Sig version. I feel like this current Infinite version could end up being like the third Hornet they released, most hated it because it was smaller and less detailed than the originals. I still like it for what it was and ultimately it has now lead to the current version that looks amazing, hopefully a similar thing could happen for the Banished Phantom down the road.

It huge difference for almost no work or additional parts. For those that don't own the additional parts that I used you could just remove the tubs and create a front and rear stand out of clear bricks, it would still look better.

There was poll while ago now where next upcoming sets where voted on. one was a lame flood set which we now have details of. shame it won over the anti air mech i forgot name of right now, we could use more banished stuff but blame latest halo for lack of anything for them to produce sets with. they just pulled plug on infinite to

I love your custom, but space wise I prefer the official. The only problem I had were the repulsors and the turrets (chin and sides). What I did to fix the side turrets was replacing them with the red turrets in the Banished Combat pack with the red ultra. It looks much better, and I used L shaped connectors for the stand of them (mainly cause I didn't have straight ones :/ ) and it allows for more posing of them! I'm still thinking of how to fix the chin gun though. I'm going to have to use that repulsor method you used though!

Thanks Chris, glad you liked it. I had number of other small yet effective mods To the Phantom that I was going to show but felt I would just be turning it into a custom and that wasn't really the point of this video so left it at removing the tubes.

I don't mind the orange stand pieces since the stability is so good, but i don't understand why they're orange. If we're concerned about accuracy, which i assume Mega is, then they should be red. I know that trans orange is sort of in the banished palette but idk, it's just a little out of place.

I thought the same thing and wondered why orange. When comparing to the in game vehicle the trans blue pieces on the back of the set are incorrect too, but I like them that colour so not as fussed.

Honestly I was really disappointed by the set. It doesn't even hold a candle to the original phantom. With the redesign of the pelican I was hoping they were gonna go all out on the phantom. Guess I was wrong, and it's more expensive too

I totally get where you're coming from but I don't think more money or parts would have made much of difference to this build which is why I'm kind of glad they didn't go all out on it. IMO it's the source material that's the problem 'it's just boring'. Hopefully we'll get a signature series of the Halo Wars 2 Phantom in the future. I'm sure they'd nail that. As you say, we know they can do it from the work they did on the current Pelican.

this build suffered so bad. halo infinite phantom is by far its worst asset. looks like a mega set ironically how plastic it looks ingame. wish they fix that ugly model even set suffers from uglyiness due to it. figures could of been way better to. another atriox my god!
