Comparing the Tamagotchi Pix & On 🤔 Which should you buy in 2023? | PandaBunny

As someone who prefers minigames over care-taking, I definitely prefer the Pix. For me it felt like the On was lacking in the minigame department and it also felt like the adult stage of the tamas was very finicky. Almost like they really wanted you to hurry and marry your tama so you could get to the gene mixing😅 The Pix however was a lot more laid back and has a good variety of games. Though the touch buttons can take a bit of getting used to for some. (I personally rarely have problems with the touch buttons, but when I do it's usually because my fingers are cold.)

I do prefer the Pix, too. I got a Tama ON first but when I bought a Pix, I took the batteries out from the ON and I've been taking care of the Pix until now. The ON's motion is so laggy.

Glad to hear some love for the Pix! It is packed with so many mini games compared to other Tamagotchi!

Yeah, the mini games on the Pix are more varied and the touch panel really helped bring that variety, and the inclusion of “at home” mini games to gain happiness points, without going through several menus and animations or stuffing your pet with treats, is pretty neat. Hula Hoop in particular is also a lot friendlier on the device (and your thumb) than the surfing mini game (which I see as the default “quick” mini game on the On), while still being a mindless activity you can do without paying much attention. Edit: Even the other mini games that do require you to “mash a button” are a lot less demanding in the Pix.

I still have my original Tamagotchi (my brother's old one) and had zero idea they were still being produced - despite being a gamer. A complete new world to look at, from my point of view.

I don't have an on, but I love my pix. Even more than my uni. I can't go into the arena or figure out how to update it. However, it is true that people are moving to the uni, so I'm finding fewer qr codes for friends.

Hello, I would also like to hear your opinion. If I already have a uni and only this tamagotchi. But I want to buy another tamagotchi, do you think I should buy an extra uni to play connection? Or have any other recommendations? meets Sanrio / meets sweet / on / smart / pix ?

Personally-- I don't think having a second Uni adds a lot to the gameplay. If you have the funds and love Sanrio, I would recommend the Sanrio Meets! It is one of my favorites!

pls help pandabunny!! i wanna change the language of my tamagotchi ON (wondergarden) but i dont know how to without resetting all of my progress..ive never been on my second generation before and i dont wanna lose it. is there another way i can change the language without starting all over? or is this the only way?

I believe the Tamagotchi On is only in English, so I don't think there is any language settings!
