I disagree. There is definitely much more to do with the Pix. It comes with a camera feature that you can use to cook and take pictures. The Pix also has a training room where you can train the tama. The ON is very lacking in terms practical goals and is only set on marriage.

Now that it is April 2022 I had two choices secondary market for On or Pix on sale. Your video really made me realize that Pix is a really good Tama. It is my first Tamagotchi ever as well. Yes, I must have been under a rock. On my 4th character and thought I'd stop back by watch your video again, and thank you very much. I was very lucky to get the pink fairyland Tamagotchi On for 60.00 last year, and it is such a fun toy to play with. It also really helps kill time playing with it at work when customers aren't coming in. I'm contemplating getting a second one for when the app discontinued, but I'm not sure if I want wonderland or sanrio version yet.

I don't have the money to get either at the moment, but i was wanting to save up for a color tamagotchi and make my choice now. So far from what ive seen from all the reviews ive watched im more inclined to get the pix, but i hate the shell so much. If i end up getting it im absolutely going to change the faceplate and see if theres anyway i can cover most of the plastic on the rest lol. I don't really mind the battery life on the pix due to the fact i would for SURE get rechargeable batteries. But if i were to get the On or Meet it would be almost exclusively because of the more visually appealing shell and layout

Thank you for the video! I have watched a few others you made as well about Tamas and you always present in a very pleasant way. I ordered the Pix Party earlier this week, because it was recommended on a discord server. I already have a few Unis, and some old Tamas. To be honest the Friends one feels unplayable now, because it harder to see due to all the background stuff. I had heard about the ON and I wondered whether I should get it. The genes stuff is interesting, but the price combined with the slide-show effect is putting me of. Here the (used) ONs sell from €100 minimum, but usually they only appear on auction sites, so little chance in finding one for a nice price. Anyway, I look forward to more of your videos!

i had an ON and going through the menu screen was surprisingly slow, it wouldn't catch up despite pressing the A button faster. it made the device feel old even though it was new at the time, my digimon vpet was faster than the ON, and it had way outdated tech in there. im glad you covered lag in this video and compared it between the two. I so, so happy that I got my meets when Italy was beginning the lock down. I wanted to buy a second one and I could not believe the prices. At the moment, even 200€ is a steal! I feel like the Tamagotchi Pix costs already too much money, especially since you can basically only use it with rechargeable batteries. I really do not get why they are not USB rechargeable... Great video, I kind of want a Pix before the price goes crazy, but I'll have to think about it. I actually like that you do not need to connect to the Internet. I really like Tamagotchi, but I do not understand why Bandai is great at dealing with Digimon and is... acting strange around the Tamagotchi. I really wanted a Smart, but apparently they sold the Smart for a very short time. There is a shortage even in Japan...

My first tama was a connection v4! It’s a great tama to start with! My second tama was the on but I only have those two so idk the difference between on and pix, I really wanted to get a second on to connect with my current one but the thing is that it’s expensive and I can only find the exact one i currently have, however the pix can meet with people worldwide just by qr so I am now considering to get the pix. Something that bugs me with the pix are the touch screen buttons because I personally love the old tamas and touch buttons are really new. But I love playing games with my tamas and I constantly come back to this video and watch to understand more about the pix.

In Greece they don't sell next gen tamagotchi for unknown reasons... Getting a tamagotchi on is super expensive and hard to find (I only found on e-bay some pieces, used but in good condition.) Speaking about the tamagotchi on the english version of meets this was the last english/localized tamagotchi to have the marriage and connection feature and also pix was the first english/localized color tamagotchi not to feature the marriage and connection feature.

I personally like the pix better because I have had the gen 1 before I got the pix and pix is like the gen 1 but advanced. Somethings I hate about the pix is the battery life it is not that long last lasting And I whenever I get my pix to the adult stage to choose a career it just glitches I also want to diy a case for my pix but because of the shutter I cant . Those are some minor problems otherwise the pix a way better.

The same thing happened to me! First I got the Pix and I loved it (was my first color tamagotchi EVER so I was shocked lol) and then got the ON because everyone seemed to like it a lot. Turns out the Pix is my absolute favourite till now and the Meets/ON’s aren’t really for me lol I find them fun a week per month and that’s it ahahaha The Pix is soooo fun! 💕

I have the ID L. A very outdated one lol. Question, on the PIX can your Tama get its own pet, marry etc like the ID L? Thank you for the video. The only one I can get my hands on is the PIX. Added: also, how long is this cycle, from born to they leave? Hope it is not too short.

you can get a pet but can’t get married on the pix. the cycle lasts a couple of days, i can’t remember how many days exactly but within a week i believe

@@OyindaOduyoye thank you for the reply. Cool, the original if I remember when I was a kid, they can last anywhere from 7 to 12 days, depending on how you look after them. So yes, sounds like the OG one indeed. So you can get pets, that is good. Well I ordered the Green PIX off Amazon, thank you for the review and showing how they operate. The PIX looks very smooth.

What happens when the batteries do die? Does the data on the thing save when you do change the batteries, or does it reset to where you have to restart?

it saves, when you turn it back on you are given the option to continue or reset

you can take them to their parents house or the hotel if you’re going to be away but you can’t physically pause the device unless you take the batteries out

@@OyindaOduyoye the old trick was to go to the clock (pressing B), press A and C and it will go into set the clock mode. Leave it on that screen and it is paused until you set the time and press C again. Is the clock feature gone now?

I miss the old tamagotchi's the on, meets and mix were all so nice. the pix is okay, the tama smart makes me lose my mind. the ons mix and meets are insane priced, my boyfriend bought me the sanrio mix and meets and surprised me with the magic on as well. I want to get the sweets so BAD
