I bought the Therabody RecoveryAir JetBoots. They worked for 2 days and then the power would come on, but they would not start. They were paired and the app on my phone recognized them. I tried to contact Therabody and they only do chat and have no one that can help you with the product. I am so frustrated. I will never buy a Therabody product again. I also did not have the split charger. Could only charge 1 boot at a time.

What does negative pressure gradient mean and why is it important?
@BestMassageTech2 ай бұрын
It means that each air chamber closer to your core the pressure is 1mmHg less. This is important because it ensures all fluids are flowing back toward your core and there is no opportunity for back flow toward your feet. Think of it as directional pressure versus one universal pressure - if you squeeze something with more pressure on one side, it will go in the opposite direction versus if you squeeze something equally/evenly, it will go in multiple directions. Hope that analogy makes sense.

Cannot help but notice you tested variations on a few brands. And ignored several others. Question: were you paid by these companies to give a review? Because I bought your highest rated boot, and found the compression weak. Then the air leak light became illuminated. Returned them to Best Buy. Found your review cursory, incomplete, and left wondering if it was on the up-and-up.

Great stuff. Definitely helped with my decision making. Would love to see a similar comparison with compression boots that just cover the lower 1/2 the leg. For example, spryng's, google sprynme, and ifitking's cordless rechargeable foot leg massager, ft-059a, are two that I looked at. It may need to be preceded with a video beforehand on whether they are effective before wasting time reviewing for comparison. Why buy one of these when I just bought some compress boots?

- Looking for something portable to put on immediately after a tennis match or workout. - Small enough that I can bring with me to the tennis court or for traveling by airplane. - Something I can use in the confines of a small car. - Something that is comfortable enough to fall asleep while wearing. - Boots like Spring's are appealing because I can still walk around or drive. - Boots like Fit King's are appealing because it does the foot as well.

Normatec 3 is the worst of them. They have reduced the pressure and the compression effect does not exist. My athletes use pressure between 140 and 170. Normatec reach a maximum of around 100 or 110. It's so low that they removed the information about the pressure. Try Avanutri with 8 chambers and up to 260mmHg pressure. This really works for athletes with large muscle mass.
@haroldpinteresque44603 ай бұрын
Check for air leaks. Mine had them. Out of the box.
@manoelrico97793 ай бұрын
@@haroldpinteresque4460 There are no leaks. Normatec's technical specification is a maximum pressure of 100, which does not work for athletes. If anyone has any doubts, offer the athlete a higher compression and you will notice that they will not want to go back to 100.

I'm curious to know, what makes you believe the normatec 2.0 pro is rated less than the normatec 2.0?
@BestMassageTech2 жыл бұрын
Strictly based on my scoring system the 2.0 ranks higher, with the main thing making it rank higher being it’s priced under $1,000. Depending on what specs you value it could be perceived that the 2.0 pro is “better”. In terms of overall value (focusing on average viable features), which my scoring system optimizes for, the 2.0 is “better”.
@banned_user2 жыл бұрын
@@BestMassageTech I ordered the 2.0 pro myself. Waiting on them to arrive. Do you know how to tell the difference between the boots? Or are they exact same, with the only difference being in the device unit itself ? If so, how can I tell if the set is the pro or not? Apart from it being written on the box ofc
@BestMassageTech2 жыл бұрын
@@banned_user I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The boots are the same. The only difference is the unit itself. The units are slightly different looking. The 2.0 has grey buttons and the pro is a smooth all black interface.
