I've been testing and tuning my 2024 350 XC-F Desert race build and like you I haven't run into any fuel issues. Off-road I've ran the gas tank down to a 1/4" - 1/2" of fuel in the wings without out issue on 3 occasions.

I wish they would have incorporated the radiator shrouds into the tank like their tanks for the older bikes. That helped keep the center of gravity lower. Of course there might have been issues preventing them from going that route.

Thanks Jeff. So when did the 4.0 become available? I just bought the 2.9 for my 501 as that was the largest size available last week. According to the internet. I tried to buy it from your shop but was told that 2.9 tank wouldn’t be in stock until end of march.

Hello: Acerbis does not even have a part # yet for the 4.0 tanks for `24 HQV models. We only have the KTM 4.0s in stock. We don't expect them until the end of April.

Any reason a set of KTM plastics wouldn’t fit on an FE frame? Maybe airbox swap as well, but I’m not even sure that would be necessary, either. Just thinking since I am buying a seat and a second set of plastics for my new 24 fe501s.

Im running thr acerbis 3.2 on my 24 300 xcw, i have fit the oil fill cap as well. I shared a video if it. Clears the fan and everything

Hey, had seen your vid before then saw this comment. Went back to it for another look but... nothing different..?? you don't finish it out with.. I did this, I shaved that, now it fits ??, works ??, doesn't ??? Jeff has been running the same tank just without mods. If you made it work please show us what you did.. @@edwolfe1397 yes i am extremely behind in my video updates. I am also getting a better camera, not using my phone to record. I will be posting an update soon. All i did was use a heat gun and slowly mold the upper part into itself, under the fuel cap, to clear the oil cap. Its not the fastest way t9 remove the cap as it used to be, but its doable eith out removing the tank.

@@edwolfe1397 i just got confirmation today from acerbis, saying The new 3.2 gal tank specifically for the 2024 XC-W will not be dry-break adaptable, but the mold for the tank has been slightly modified to accommodate the oil cap. Other than that, the tank is exactly the same as the tank you currently have. they are in the works to release a new 3.2 that

What year and model bike are you referring to?

@@slaverace123+ New Chassis. There are videos showing that the chain tightens substantially more than in previous years as the swingarm swings upwards due to the geometry. Many feel the “tightness” or “stiffness” some experience in the new chassis has more to do with the chain being too tight more than the chassis or rear suspension.
