Comparison between Louis Vuitton Accessories: Pochette, Eva, & Cosmetic Bag - What fits inside

Three popular Louis Vuitton accessory items are often compared to each other when trying to decide which one would work best for your intended purpose. I've shown the pochette, Eva, & cosmetic bag compared to each other to show the difference in size and what they can hold.
I'm currently using my pochette to hold my Nintendo DS and its accessories; I have the Eva to use as a small bag/clutch for day trips into Chicago or similar events, and the cosmetic bag is more of a daily use item for me down inside my purse. They are all versatile and could work for multiple uses as well.

Thanks for comparing these bags. It is interesting to actually see the difference in size. I always thought I wanted the Eva clutch in the Monogram pattern, but I am saving for the pouchette in Damier Ebene. I watched Minsarika's review on that particular bag and I figured I wanted it, so classic. Just love LV. I love your videos, thanks!

The pochette is probably the most classic and all around just great bag to have in your collection, so I really like that one. It can do it all, hold makeup, act as a clutch, have a longer strap added to it, etc. The Eva is definitely worth the money though if you think you'll use it a lot, since it comes with the extra strap and is a bit bigger. It is a great option for situations where you just want a small bag or clutch. So depends on what you're wanting to use it for too. ;)

Hey @Bags4Bubbles, I'm going to be purchasing the Damier Ebene Cosmetic Pouchette in the PM size. Would you recommend it being safe carrying a small travel size facial mist in the Pouchette for makeup touch ups through out the day? Or have you experienced a spill thus ruining the Pouchette. Any advice would help. Thank!

I am considering purchasing the Eva Clutch. Do you use it for daytime with the crossbody strap? I have a speedy30, Palermo and Artsy and was thinking something little to grab and go for things like lunch and movies, etc. Thanks for your videos!

I recently bought a pochette from ebay and the date code looks like it's made in 2011. The dust bag came with says LV instead of 'Louis Vuitton', is it used to be like that? or did I get a wrong one? I do have a speedy which I got it a long time ago and I don't have a dust bag for it so I can't compare...What do you think? Also, how wide is the strap? Mine seems to be quite skinny.. Thanks!

Hi, greetings from Australia. Just to clear up some confusion, the first and third numbers on the date stamp represent the week it was made, and the second and fourth numbers the year. So, 1012 equates to the eleventh week of the year 2002.

@kadengator I think it would be great for running to things like lunch or the movies. My intended purpose for it is to use it when we do a day trip into Chicago to go museums and things like that, but I have to carry more with me when we are just around town running errands on a regular day because of the kids. Yes, that is right! :) VI is made in France - and 1011 would be November of 2001. So the LV dustbag matches the datecode too. :) Thanks for watching!

Old dustbags used to just have "LV" on them. I wouldn't discount authenticity or actual date of the item based on the dustbag, since it is so easy for dustbags to get mixed around. Check your date code on the interior, it should be two letters, followed by 4 numbers. the number code should be #1#1, if it is in fact from 2011. Hope that helps. The strap on the pochette is pretty skinny. Get it authenticated someplace if you're having questions on it . ;) Thanks for watching!

What are you planning on using it for? :) That will help give an opinion. The pochette and mini pochette are both great accessories and super versatile... you can't go wrong with those. Are you planning on keeping makeup in it? Occasionally use as a clutch? Want something exclusively to use as a clutch?
