*My mental pain story that happened just recently:* I had been looking forward to going to Portugal for several months, and the day before had finally came when I was going to go. I was so excited and hyped, as I hadn't been to Portugal for over 3 years. I was told by my mum I needed a covid test to show that I'm eligible to travel, and that I do not have the coronavirus, but to my unluck, the test came out positive and I've been self-isolating since Friday. The only time I've been out is either outside in my garden or going to get a PCR test on Saturday to check if I'm really positive, and yes, unfortunately I have tested positive, and 3 times in a row I was told that. It really hurt me and its given me a depression for a while now, I was looking forward to see my family in Portugal, and to enjoy the hot weather that it would have. Fortunately, half of my family were negative and made it to Portugal without problems, but I've been self-isolating and my dad looking after me ever since that day. Rape is forced sex. The other person does not want sex. That is the definition of rape. Now with that out of the way, It doesn't matter why the other person doesn't want sex. They shouldn't have to answer that. No means no, and that's that. The fact that the majority of rapists are men and the majority of victims are women doesn't mean men can't be raped, or that women can't commit rape. Invalidating trauma is one of the worst things you can do. Don't do anything to a sexual partner you wouldn't want done to your closest friend. Consent can be withdrawn at any time except for after sex. That means consent can be withdrawn during sex. Also, it doesn't matter what the other person is wearing.
