I really love your videos. You offered a detailed descriptions of your own feelings for each pair of shoes. I always thought I was too picky. I was just very aware of the kind of feelings I have.

I'm glad that comments are enabled on this! I keep wanting to say that we have very similar feet and I'm so happy to see someone with arches like mine living their best life.

This is a great video! A common issue when you are in a 3rd world country/country with limited ballet market dance stores often bring very narrow and hard shoes, which sucks for us with wider, less arched feet. I got told by a Gaynor fitter to try their pianissimo shank and I'm so excited! Because Gaynor is a truly inclusive brand that ships almost anywhere and allows customization, they are definetly worth the higher price tag! 💜

would you ever try the new russian pointe rubin radiance shoe?? i'm excited about the 3/4 shank on them because the flexible soft shank took a long time to break in for me..

Looking at the video, my question is how do your ankles and instep feel in each? Do you feel any sickling? You definitely get over the box better on the softer shank shoes. Support and comfort are very important though! I think Gaynor Minden and Suffolk are both better for people with lower arches and wider feet. The Russian brands are cute, but they definitely favor a tapered, narrow shape.
