Actually you missed one type of tram, the CAF Urbos trams which are the newest in Nantes. The models you filmed are Bombardier Incentro's from the late 90's/early 2000's, the very first version of the Alstom TFS from the early 80's and the tram-train version of the Alstom Citadis, the Citadis Dualis.

I only saw 2 types of tram here. I was going on the trams for 2 days and didn't see any other types.

That's weird, maybe you didn't ride all lines or you were just a bit unlucky, I know a few transport enthusiasts who live there and they have pics and videos of these CAF Urbos trams

@@benolifts I asked the transport enthusiasts who live there and they told me that they were taken out of service because of safety hazards including defect braking system, and the City of Nantes is taking legal action against CAF because they never fixed any of the issues

Sure, I can already tell you that I've got harrassed for filming or taking pics of transports the 3 times I went to France: once in Dunkirk by a thug teen girl, once in Lille by a bus driver and once the second time I went to Lille by a group of transport employees while filming the VAL system

The newer trams are ADtranz Incentro. The oldest trams are Tramway Français Standard. And the very newest are CAF Urbos 3.

The trams at Nantes are very quick, smooth and have very weird traction motor noises. Nice video.

The trams are very quick especially on line 1, which has portions suitable for 70 km/h, but in hyper city center, it gets worse from year to year! Line 2 running for several kilometers along the river Erdre, it is very slow. Line 3 has a small portion to the south where they can run fast but it's not that great. Only lines 1 and TT1 (tram-train part of the regional rail network, capable of 100km / h, much faster because there is very little stop in town, it acts as an express line compared to line 1 of the tram) are filmed here.
