The OP3 is seriously causing me to question my allegiance to Nexus. I may _actually_ pick this up over this year's Nexus, which I never thought I'd be saying. But hey, nothing's decided yet. Who am I kidding? I'll probably still go with the Nexus, but the fact that this phone causes question says a lot for it.

I went from nexus to the oneplus one. Skipped the oneplus 2, then upgraded to oneplus 3. So worth it! Especially after the RAM management update. Root is just as easy as with the Nexus

oneplus 3 has a better speaker & a better headphone playback. it also comes with faster finger print scanner. but s7 has wireless charging, SD card support.

True the speaker is slightly better on the OP3 but it's still pretty bad when compared to other phones on the market such as the Nexus 6P, or HTC 10 so it's not even worth mentioning. It does have better headphone playback, (if you count louder volume as the determining factor) I'll give you that. Finger print scanner is not faster, but it is easier to unlock on the OP3 since it's always ready to read your fingerprint with a tap away. The S7 does have wireless charging, but I didn't really have a wireless charger to actually showcase that so in that case my apologies.

I would go the s7. My s7 edge just paid for itself the other day when I dropped it in the bath. Didn't have to worry about rushing around to dry it up. People hate Samsung but having a phone that is water resistance is definitely a must when buying a phone.

Onplus 3 vs s7. Oneplus 3 is the way to go because to much similar but lower price, the camera on s7 is better, but not so good that outperform the op3. in the other hand, oneplus 3 have better performance, because better software, more ram, and lower resolution display which help a lot for the gpu BUT IF Oneplus 3 vs s7 EDGE, it a difference story, let do a simple math 2 oneplus 3 = 1 s7 edge :v with s7 edge 1. way better battery 2. super sexy curve screen and some more feature that mentioned in the video but in the end, you never want to live with samsung device for over one year or less, because samsung is so good at the beginning but will lag after like 4-5 months for sure, as least with the snapdragon version

OP3 is the best phone for the money on the market... Period. The S7 is cool, but at the age most people really want a cool phone(there are those rare elders who like to be swag but...) your not going to want to spend 400$ more for a phone which is very close to the one plus 3. Also, the finger print scanner is much faster, durability is better and, just screw touch wiz, oxygen OS is where its at. In the end, the S7 is a modified version of its older brother the S6 with a little better internals and a better camera. The OP3 is the new, less hip but in my opinion better for the average American looking to save some extra dollars. I still miss my Moto Razor so, who am I to be talking. : )

If you compare the one plus 3 with the s7 edge (international version, qualcome) you'll definitly have a winner. Though, mmaking the relation between charging time (with real fast charging mode) and screen on time on any s7 phone, might give you other results

Never touched on call quality and, importantly, the speaker quality. I currently have the S4, which will no longer connect to the network, and it by far has the best speaker of any mob I seen yet. I'm temporarily using a Blu 4.0 and it's a decent enough ph for $50-80 but the speakers suck, as does the camera, and the display is weak... but it's a cheap phone. How does the OP3's and S7's speakers compare?

Comparison should have been with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge because both have 5.5" screens. I prefer the S7. One Plus 3 is a great phone too. But the screen on the high end Samsung phones are the best, IMO.

+TwistedPixel 03 For me it's definitely worth the extra money. The price of the One Plus 3 where I'm at is $600. It's cheaper to get the S7 Edge on contract, which most people do these days. Not too many people can afford to buy phones in full price.

I wanted to showcase water resistance on the S7 but from my last S7 video I did test water resistance and now the water has slipped into my devices internals causing water damage. I am having charging and connection issues so I didn't want to risk the S7 once again as I might need to make more videos with it. Samsung's water resistance on some devices, including the all new Galaxy S7 active is pretty bad. I think TouchWiz still looks fucking terrible. I used a Samsung phone a couple years ago and the OS sucked. I use my little brother's GS6 often, and even though the OS has improved considerably, it's still terrible compared to OxygenOS.

Most likely, if you use it properly, no. A friend of mine has an old GS5 mini (or whatever they're called, it's a smaller version of the Galaxy S5), and he has had it for over 2 years. It's still really fast.

There is. The S7 is really expensive (around €800 where I live), while the OP3 is only €400. Performance is really similar. The S7 has a better camera, display, and a much smaller camera hump. In the end, it depends on your budget. Get the S7 if you can afford it, otherwise get the OP3.
