While I do think more expressions can make something even greater, it was th simplicity and how sometimes the old smg4 videos look that make them better to look for some reason, and another reason of why this happens, it's maybe because smg4 doesn't the 64 character models a lot nowadays, in the old videos (2016-2021 or even 2022 i think) smg4 had a good balance between when to use the 64 models and the more expresive or even crazier modern models on his videos, but it wasn't until the redesigns when he just started using more the modern models, i mean it works in some videos, but maybe its just me but I miss the 64 models, smg4 is one of the main reason why I love those models despite people saying they don't look as good. I think these are the reasons why the remasters are just average, or even good, but they don't have that special magic the ogs had, but that's just my opinion.
