@@mightyowl1668 no problem. For me, OLED screens tend to be more vibrant and over saturated, not so much color accurate. I like that LCD screens are more color accurate, and don't mind the less vibrancy. Also, OLED screens can still suffer from burn in. :)

Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

I was going back and forth for two months on whether to get the lite, 6 or 7. I ended up with the S7 and absolutely love it so far. The screen is still amazing even though it is lcd. Still get super bright and works amazingly!

@@Rosaap_ considering the lite was the budget friendly tablet I didn't think it would last me as long as the s6 or s7. But ultimately chose the s7 for the processing power over the display of the s6. Again I felt I the s7 would be able to stand the test of time with the better processor.

I have the Tab S6 Lite since the day it launched. I like it a lot. The only thing I'd like is a higher res screen. I don't mind LCD panel, it's only disadvantage is bad viewing angles but no one is watching their tv shows or browses the web from side. My recommendation: unless you plan on using Dex or playing high-end games, go for the Tab S6 Lite, you'll like it and you won't lose anything compared to the Tab S7! Also because it's the same age as the Tab S7, you'll receive the same amount of software updates.

I don't really know which one to choose. the price difference is huge. I would use it mainly for notes, at least 6 hours a day continuous and often even more but discontinuous. I would also like to use it for media (youtube, netflix etc) and to work on pdf and powerpoint. my concern is that the s6lite tab can't handle the strain I would put it through and that's why i thought about taking the s7. what do you suggest me?

@@Rosaap_ that's some heavy usage, I say go for the Tab S7 if you can afford it. And don't forget the regular Tab S6, it's worth considering and has the best screen of these three altough the S Pen is a bit clumsier.

@@vilazo9486 If you want to use an android tablet as a laptop, I would suggest, go for the Tab S5e as it has a better screen, has a smart connector for a keyboard and also supports Samsung Dex. But if you need a stylus, I would suggest to for the Tab S7.

Idk why ppl haven't really compared these 2 when Tab S7 is honestly more like an upgraded/expensive/premium version of S6 Lite, rather than the upgraded version of S6 or a cheaper version of S7+ tbh.. That's why comparing S6 vs S7 vs S7+ made some people go mad at the S6 to S7 "dowgrade" like the S6 OLED screen to S7 LCD, & feel like S7+ has a LOT more to offer compared to S7, & might make you feel like a meh if you're choosing between s6 vs s7. But if you compare S7 vs S6 Lite, it makes more sense. Like, S7 has bigger screen, better display, better s-pen, better processor, support dex -- it's all the stuff people want from the s6 Lite, but at twice the cost now.. Question is, is the price worth the upgrade for some people? (And honestly in my country u can get free keyboard case if you purchase S6 Lite/S7, but it doesn't come with the S6/S7+ bundle, so) It's just "Lite/Mini" sounds cheaper. "Pro/+" version sounds expensive. They probably wanna promote the S7+ as Pro version more vs the normal S7 version so rather than upgrading S6, they upgrade the S6 Lite with more premium content/specs & named it S7, and make a whole new "upgraded", "Pro" version of their tab while calling it the Plus version so. :p

It was required, I specifically searched for it. Samsung would give me a full refund for my Tab S6 Lite if I bought the Tab S7 before the 1st of October so I was considering it. But I don't need Dex (even though it's a great technology) and other than that I'd just get a higher res screen which I'd like but not for the price. So I'm really glad this video was made.

I don't recommend the S6 lite because after loving mine for about 7 months, it just one day never came back on. It won't even show that it's charging when plugged in and when researching this problem, I discovered that this self bricking issue is quite common among S6 lite owners. Sadly, there is no simple solution and the Only remedy (unless still covered by warranty) is to send it in to Samsung to be repaired/replaced which I haven't done yet.

When using a USB-C converter to plug in an external hard drive, the tablet wants you to format the whole drive and lost the files you want to edit!! ... meaning that you can't really use it for working across devices at all!! Is there a way around this?

I came across some challenges when I wanted to "write" on a deck of 40 PPT slides, I was using OneNote and it didn't help me at all. So I am thinking of using S6 lite WIFI. Currently, I have a A7 10" LTE. but I can't use S-Pen. Is S6 lite capable ? I have to justify A$500 for a S6 Lite. I am thinking of using Samsung notes rather than OneNote. for storage I am thinking of Google Drive, it seems to be more affordable. As I use Google classroom as well. What are your thoughts? @jdouglas8585 The S6 lite is fantastic. Only got it yesterday, but the apps are great. Had to import it because Japan doesn't sell galaxy tablets. Concepts and medibang is fantastic. I already drew some illustrations. I use it mainly as a tablet, not a laptop because I have a laptop. I had the Lenovo yoga book original which was also great for illustrations and loved it, but the S6 lite with the new pen is amazing! KZbin is no problems, phone games works well, Kindle works well also. Also, I discovered there are about 4 places the pen can magnetize to which is great. I've owned the galaxy s10 phone for 4 months, which feels a little obsolete next to this tablet. Hehe. I need to give my s6 Lite a cool name.

@@estefaniaarango yeah, i bought the s7. I chosed the s7 because i found a good offer (€600 and the ear buds plus at €50 if u buy the tablet). But after some months of use I think that the s6 lite would be good too for half the price. I never tried it but i just think that €600 for a tablet its maybe a little too much 😅 I use it a lot for taking notes and to watch media, it works good, after 4-5 months i didnt have any problems, its fluid, i like the media quality, it has some usefull features. But Dex, one of the features that make me buy the s7, its not that usefull as i expected, i never use it. The s7 is big enough, if it was bigger it would be better for writing notes, but its fine.

Apps will refresh frequently due to the ram limitations, but unless you have 12 gb ram or more, you can't escape from frequent refreshing anyway. S6 lite is a good deal. You get great performances and features for a relatively low price.

@@estefaniaarango I don't know these apps. I use it mostly with reading apps and for watching tv. But the tablet isn't laggy, especially if you use the task changer from good lock (or nice lock). Just think about the refreshing factor and see if it is a deal breaker for you.

I have the S6 Lite and bought a suitable cover for it from Amazon. It holds the magnetized pen at the top quite nicely and keeps it charged and handy for me. The brightness is a bit of an issue, but I found that using dark mode helps me focus my eyes more easily. I don't have an issue with lag when using the pen. However, I don't use it for much other than as a scrolling tool or pointer. I waited for a decent sale before buying it, and while I wouldn't mind having the new S7+ for more screen real estate, I don't want to pay that amount of money just to watch KZbin and Netflix!

Hello that was very informative I am going to move up from my Tab s4 and would like to know about ear phones I was going to go Tab S6 ,Tab S6 litte or Tab s 7. can I operate ear phones with all ( either cable or bluetooth) I love the idea of the better sceen like my Tab s4 but being in my early seventies want this machine to last. Love putting my photos , videos on it, doing Utube, facebook instagram so fourth, Ancestory Boom Beach and music. You can use Bluetooth audio for all. To use traditional headphones with an aux you will need a USB C to aux jack cable adapter. It's costs relative cheap, around $10.

I found a way to open 2 word documents at the same time. First you open one from the "office" app and then you open the second one from the "word" app. It might work for exel also.

The snapdragon 662 is actually pretty good, get close to s5e's snapdragon 670 so you don't lose much gaming performance

Hello Sir, your analysis is the best i saw from listening more than 6 videos on these tablets! congratulations! German quality of reviews. You are doing a great job!. I just orderd a tablet S7 black version for 549 euro, that's a great price. And not that much over the s6lite.. Plus longer support on android and more power. Thinking of using it to show my DSLR pictures from my NIKON D750 second hand bought. Plus lot's of things i am watching nowadays on youtube . Keep up your style! very good quality!

Sureeeee.... I had my samsung Galaxy a71 5g for 11 months now and is still in perfect condition does not come with s pen but I can do the same stuff that I can do with the tablets except for Dex mode but I can do note taking and drawing as well. I think it doesn't matter what size you get or how bright the screen is on either tablet because their all samsung but a bit bigger so there's not much difference between all of them. I'm getting the tab s6 lite in 7 days and I think the gaming and the drawing and all that will be as good as the tab s7 and s7+. I wanted the s7+ but I think paying $800 on a tablet is way to much. That's just my opinion, if you buy the 4 year warinty with the s6 lite than you can get it fixed for free!
