@@Makyliott Recording is continuous on the SDcard while a short clip of detected events are recorded on the cloud. The short clip is for reference for users to locate the entire recording. This works for all Tapo and Xiaomi cameras.

Tapo C225 not having USB power connector was a show stopper for us. Now we use the Xiaomi C500 and over all it is doing very well.

Tapo C220 and Tapo C225 have almost the same specs except that the latter has more tilting reach and has physical button. So, you already have an idea if C220 will be compared to Xiaomi C400.
